Well, despite how crazy Michelle Bachman may be, I believe you're taking her quote a little out of context. I truly don't believe she's as insane to believe that everyone who is unemployed should just starve to death. She's talking about those who refuse to work, will not work, leech off the government when they have the means and the tools TO work. In which case, I completely agree with her. A man that refuses to work should starve. No one deserves to eat the fruit of someone elses labor. Period.

She chose her words in haste and attempts to appeal to the lowest and most vile among us to gain votes. I realy dont think she has a prayer of going much further than Palin, the best she can hope for is a lucrative book deal and a gig on fox news.

Politics is dirty business and anyone that doesn't support her party or is running against her will use this statement to make her look like bad; that is how politics works. I have no reasons to like or dislike this woman; so I was just giving an opinion to what I heard on the video. We have many here in my city that take adavantage of our unemployment benifits that are too lazy to work and my friend is a prime example of that. I just assumed she was talking in particular about that type of person.

What we have to accept all over the world is that unemployment is here to stay and people need money to live. That is the problem facing the world. Millions unemployed forever.

Agreed and you are right. There will be those that will take advantage of any sytem put in place; but I am glad that at least here they are getting caught. Don't get me wrong; I adore my friend but I have no sympathy for him for abusing the system and getting cut off from social assistance.
