In your mind, you’re attractive, you’ve got a banging profile but nobody wants to know...no responses to emails that you’ve sent. No profile views..what do you do? Do you...

a) Make revisions to your pic/profile
b) Continue sending out emails and nudges
c) Consider that your location may be a problem
d) Better manage your unrealistic expectations i.e. not going for people out of your league
e) Make no revisions because you’re great as you are
f) Whinge and moan
g) None of the above
h) Other (please state)________________________

Be honest!

"Frankenstein was the creator, not the monster. It's a common misconception, held by all truly stupid people."

h) I just go see Tom Boddet. I know he will always leave the light on for me at Motel 6. I just try to stay away from the Bates motel. Watch those motel lights that don't work.

I go to the forums and try to make awkward comments.

The thread was a tiny weeny bit tongue in cheeky in response to those who moan about the lack responses they get and other 'this site being rubbish' comments...

Don't suppose you've ever watched Red Dwarf? Would suggest you look it up if you can be bothered!

Fortunately, I don't have to worry about responses or lack therefore..some will get the humour, others won't. I won't make a judgement one way or another

I don't live my life by how folks on the computer respond or don't respond so what is is what you get. .

I guess part of me understands the complaining about no responses. I think 'woe is me' when I read them and try not to roll my eyes like a teenager.

The other part of me wonders how careful they are in their address to their target.

I admit I am guilty of not responding at times. I just get frustrated with first emails from people that say "hi" or "how are you" and nothing else. If you want to start a conversation with me, you've got to actually say something. Maybe I'm just getting bitchy in my old age, but I am sick of carrying conversations with men.

There is one guy here who is a great conversationlist and I always enjoy his emails. Too bad he isn't interested in any more than being friends...but that's okay. I enjoy him for what he has to offer.

Ive seen it referred to lots. Ive found it in the vid store too, unfortunately there are two shows with that name. The one they had was not the british series.

Red Dwarf - 1980's British comedy series:
The adventures of the last human being alive and his friends, stranded three million years into deep space on the mining ship Red Dwarf.
Starring Craig Charles, Chris Barrie, Danny John-Jules, Robert Llewellyn, Norman Lovett, Hattie Hayridge, Chloë Annett, Sophie Winkleman, Graham McTavish.

I don't understand it to be honest. Tough titty if a few people don't think this site is the right site for them or people in their location haven't signed on for months...why moan about it? It’s not like the problem’s insurmountable, there are easily available solutions...

Like you. I also get fed up with "Hi" or "How are you" emails and I don't always send responses. Sometimes, I do think I'm getting bored of non conversations..it's one of the reasons why I enjoy this site so much, it's not solely about 'dating'...have met some great online friends from here and I enjoy contributing...that's all I need for the moment!
