a. make sure to post a good pic and change it up every once in a while h. other 1} get out of stealth mode since it limits how many views you get 2) start posting in the forums more frequently I think the posting in the forums is really important for generating interest from the opposite sex. Some profiles tell the reader very little about the author and IMO places more emphasis than necessary on visual appearance e.g. if the profile’s crap but the person is attractive, that might get generate a nudge or an email. If there is no pic and a crap profile... Contributing to discussions on the forum gives prospective partners another way of getting to know you. People are interested in your opinions and what you have to say, not how well you can spell – that stuff’s not important! |

So, I got an email from an attractive guy who lives close by yesterday. All it said was, "I thought I'd say hi". Of course, usually I will just delete that, but I decided to give the guy a chance and maybe start a conversation. So, I said, "Hi, nice to meet you." He reads it and then never emails me back.

I think your interesting Lex, you have a young Victor Meldrew (a character from a British tv programme called ‘One foot in the Grave') attitude that makes me smile whenever I read one of your post... Thank you, it's nice to know that someone notices....! Not familiar with Victor but of course I will have to investigate....!! oh that is so cute! |

UPDATE: Still no email. I for one am encouraged to see that there are still emails floating by, with capitalization, appropriate punctuation, and even an apostrophe when warranted. Where is his spaceship? Yeah, that's partly why I answered. I saw potential for an actual conversation based on his proper use of grammar and punctuation. I guess that's the only sentence he knows how to write though. |

Maybe his momma gave him a 'timeout' and banned him from using his computer for the rest of the week Seriously though, don't understand it...Men are mysterious beings! |
