I bet if there were no people on the face of the earth, their would still be some living under ground in all those secret cities and bunkers you hear about.
I would find them.

Create a shelter? I'm betting there might be plenty of nice ones still around, if not probably some underground bunkers somewhere or a nice cave.  Create a shelter....for me, one that is weather proofed....and being here in Australia...extreme heat and prolonged drought, massive cyclones, floods, intense wildfires...and that's only if the changing weather patterns remain as they are today for the duration of my remaining 1000 years. I would need to protect myself from venemous snakes, dogs, and various unhappy arachnids, initially, as I imagine the animal world would have years of population explosions, and declines, while they all sort out natural attrition, once the primary predator is gone. So shelter, may look different than what it is today, for me. I can't imagine I would have an interest in learning to fly a plane, so would only sail to other countries, and even then, close neighbours...so my imaginings remain on this country's surface... |

Seriously, if you were the last person on earth and your life span was 1000 years, how would you spend your time? What would you do? Pray to God for a man to spend the 1000 years with. Gotta have someone to talk to.  Oh my goodness, that was a good one. Good come back.
