I have no idea where I should have put this,
Anyway , i cant think of anywhere to get married, thought about Las Vegas but tooooo many people so dont really want to go there. Has anyone got any ideas , somewhere pretty and not in a mad huge city.. Any ideas would be welcome. Hmmm especially if they are a little strange and different |

it depends, is it something small and intimate,
is there going to be family there that may be coming from different places? if its intimately small, choose someplace you and your partner can return to and remember if its going to be someplace with family, Id consider how far they were having to travel, AS well as choosing someplace memorable you can return to |

As small as possible and only family who i am bringing with me, I just want semple and fun, I hate dressing up and hate crowds even more. which is why I am having trouble figuring it out, there seem to be people everywhere,
Remote sounds good, maybe a log cabin in the middle of nowhere. Well thats my best idea so far, I wanted a teepee but nobody has them in the winter.. |

The Wayfarer's Chapel in Palos Verdes, CA. Of course if you want something real off beat, Sedonna Arizona. Then there is always Monterrey California. If you want a real odd place to do it, Macchu Pichu Peru! I like the name. Almost as funny as Lake Titticaca Peru!
Also there is Hawaii or Mexico! |

Has anyone got any ideas , somewhere pretty and not in a mad huge city.. Any ideas would be welcome. Hmmm especially if they are a little strange and different Have Several places. If you want someplace serene and pretty and not overly costly Victoria B.C. comes to mind. Has a little European flavor, a nice layout for a walking tourist, and a mix of activities. Mild climate. If you want a historic pioneer experience I would suggest finding any number of the historic celegrations and Rent a luxury RV to honeying moon in after a dude ranch wedding. Maybe even one of the Native American Pow Wows. If you like animals find a medium size cosmopolitan city and work with the zoo for a wedding either before or after hours. Some zoos eager for the revenue will allow a special event such as a butterfly release or useing special locations for small weddings and receptions. If you like music Branson Mo. comes to mind. Civil War history Stone Mountain, Georgia. The best plan for destination or theme weddings is planning ahead and making sure that the intimacy and purpose of the wedding doesn't get lost in the production. |

Hmmm Planning is the thing I have trouble with, walking in and saying lets just do this sounds easy, jeans and a top sounds good..a dude ranch or pow wow sounds like fun. |

ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND?
...or just tired of all the sex already? Dude, what actual benefits come with documented marriage except a huge tax rate on secondary income? Shake the man's hand. Look him in the eye and mean it when you say "I will love you with everything that I am, with every breath I take, for every day I have left"... If that ain't good enough...f*@k em. |

Josie . . . keep in mind as well that each state has diffent rules for marriage licenses some require up to a 7 day waiting period before the ceremony can be preformed. For example Flordia has a 3 day wait for residents but non residents can get married the same day. . Its also one of the only states that a Notary Republic can marry you. Most states it has to be an ordained minister or a Justic of the Peace.

KRUPA! My Darling, artistic, romantic, sentimental, stylish, theatrical, funny, nurtureing, generouse, loyal, family centered friend You shock me to the core!
I figured yours would be the wedding of the Century! that they would have to shut Mingle down for a shindig of grandoise porportions lol. BBBBBBBBBut the older I get the more I am inclined to agree. Have the bachleor/ette parties, Wedding, Heck two or three honeyingmoons but think long and hard about the license and what all that gets you into. |
