I don't remember HER name. Clay Henry was a billy goat and a famous character in Texas recent history. Sadly, too much beer ended his life. He was the mayor of Lajitas, Texas. His son and grandson drink beer too but are not the goat Clay Henry was. sadly, they never are. |

Were you at the Chili cook off?? No, I went down in Walter Mischer's plane with his bridge superintendent to fool around. Walter and his buddy Tommy Steele built Lajitas and Tommy was going to be the mayor (or maybe it was Walter, I forget). They ran Clay Henry for mayor as a joke but the goat won the election. The goat was a heck of a beer drinker before he became mayor! Like most politicians, he got worse after being elected. |

No, Jayne it's true...you can look it up on the internet....Clay was a beer drinking goat and the mayor of Lajaitas ....and he was a stinky 4 legged Billy Goat!!
he only drank out of beer bottles...the cans, he couldn't handle...he's take the open beer bottle in his mouth and bite it with his teeth..he then up threw back his head and would drink the whole bottle of beer. Honest to gosh truth! |
