This is a thread about what you and I are thankful for THIS DAY - we need more gratitude in the world.....
I'll start: I am thankful for my 'return to Mingle2 experience', and I want to say a BIG "Thank You" to all who have made me feel so welcome and at home here again.   What are you thankful for today?  |

Just about ten years ago, I did not hold to my heart the blessings and good things in my life. I just took things as they came forth. I felt if I bragged about the blessings that I've received, something "bad" would happen and take away the blessings of the grand life.
So I played it safe, I went along day after day without a grateful heart. Many bad things did in fact occur. I then felt since I had it so good, that all the bad things that happen were my fault. Now, I will be quick to express thanks whenever a good thing comes into my life. Somehow, there's always something to be thankful about! Good or bad things will happen. I learned to deal with the bad and the good. I have been so grateful for the blessings, and the happiness I feel. Dealing with the bad with a open heart and mind. Living everyday with a grateful smile, an a wonderment of a caring heart to deal with the day as it occurs. I have succeed in being more grateful, and giving more gratitude to people that come into my life for a second or for years. |
