Has this ever happened to you? Was just watching the music videos over at my sister, Dora's house. I mean if she wouldn't have told me I wouldn't have known.

no, but I did have a man behind me in line once dressed in women's clothes and it surprised me because I thought cross dressers usually kept it at home....not out in public
but I didn't care my son was about 15 at the time. I just told him that there are all kinds of people in the world but of course I have spent time in New York |

President Obama Calls Lady Gaga ‘A Little Intimidating’
It was a fleeting encounter, lasting only two minutes. But for the Leader of the Free World, meeting the Queen of Pop was apparently an “intimidating” affair. “She was wearing 16-inch heels. She was eight feet tall. It was a little intimidating,” President Obama said of pop superstar Lady Gaga in an address Saturday at the annual Human Rights Campaign gala in Washington, D.C. The two met for the first time in person last week at a fundraiser for Obama’s re-election campaign held at the California home of Facebook’s Sheryl Sandberg and her husband David Goldberg. Gaga reportedly wore a black dress, scalloped high plunge back and high heels. Her blond hair was upswept, with black flowers and black veil sweeping down back of hair. “I held some productive bilateral talks with your leader,” Obama jokingly told the gaga-for-Gaga crowd of gay and lesbian advocates of the meeting, drawing hearty laughter and applause. While it’s unclear what the two discussed, Gaga had tweeted before the fundraiser that she wanted to raise the issue of youth bullying with Obama following the suicide of Jamey Rodemeyer, a 14-year-old Gaga fan who had been victimized for being gay. “I am meeting with our President. I will not stop fighting. This must end. Our generation has the power to end it. Trend it #MakeALawForJamey,” the singer posted to twitter. http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/politics/2011/10/president-obama-calls-lady-gaga-a-little-intimidating/ Is it okay if I do Clairol commercials here? I remember hearing that only your hairdresser knows for sure. |

Have your spidey senses ever let you down when it came to chemistry?

Many years ago, there was this pre-op guy where I worked and I swear, he was the ugliest woman I ever saw in my life.
I did admire him though because if must have taken a lot of courage for him to dress (clothes, wig and makeup) that way every day, having to deal with people staring and laughing..knowing that people are laughing - I stared but didn't laugh - and making comments. I was in my 20’s at the time and he was my first transgender person and I didn’t know what to make of it. Thankfully, I’m a lot more eductated (don'tya just love TV ) and tolerant now |

Have your spidey senses ever let you down when it came to chemistry? Not with same sex relationships even unknowing ones. Have been 'hit on' by women though. My 'spidey sense' has definitely let me down when it's come to men...knew I shouldn't have 'gone there' but couldn't help myself. Some decisions I've regretted...other's I've walked around with a big smile on my face . |

I thought Boy George was the cutest guy I ever saw. Television was my babysitter. Mr. Rogers could have been my father for as much time as I got to spend with my father. I think it has made a lot of us more tolerant. I can remember my friends asking me. "You do know Boy George is a guy, right?" When Eddie Murphy did his rendition of Mr. Rogers I just about lost it. "Children this is how you answer the door in my neighborhood." I think a lot of children were raised on television and switch to the Internet is even more helping a lot of us to blend in and to be ourselves even easier. |

That can really get to one. |

My parents cemigrated to the UK in the late 50's from the Caribbean and it took a while for them to acclimatise..so we (my siblings and I) relied on TV and I agree, I think that's how young people use the internet today - if you can call porn blending in |

What would you say if I told you "I'm a transsexual"
I look better than girls 10 years younger than me. |

I'd say "hello Jackie", I've enjoyed reading your threads and your comments on other threads. What else would I say?

Don't 'jump' matey. The comments that I wrote regarding my first transgender experience was when I was in my 20's. I'm almost 43 now and I'm a totally different person now - I'm sure you are as well.

My ancestor had a sugar plantation there in 1642. It was on the northwest corner of Nevis Island. |
