true - comes naturaly with no effort

fake - you have to always work hard at it and it just doesn't feel right.

I think another description of love is wanting the best for that person, their happiness and well-meaning outweighs what you want for yourself. Totally giving of yourself regardless of the outcome.

You cannot deem yourself to fall in love. Hopefully you can feel what real love is.

If a person cheats, is that true or fake love? I don't know...

It's like saying, I love you but I'm not in love with you. Would you call that 'fake' love?

I guess true love is like a comfy slipper, it just fits, it feels like a part of you , comfortable and warm.

Fake love is more like an expensive pair of painful high heels.. It looks great, feels wonderful for a short time, makes you feel like you are extra special, but when you want to relax and just be you, they just dont fit into your life the same.

I dont think love can be judged by ONE action. It is more of a collective of how one treats another in good and bad times. I think people can err in their choices but when love is there, and those choices hurt their partner, they will be remorseful and discontinue their behavior. So, I think someone might be able to 'cheat' even though they love another, but I dont think they could do it repeatedly and claim to love their partner, unless they are too immature to really grasp what love is,,, which happens often.(those kinds love as well as they know how,, but have a lot to learn and are open to doing so).

There is love and there is the absence of love but I don't believe that it can be fake. People can be inauthentic but love never is.

Seems to be a lot of that going on these days. Its put me off dating/relationships.

I figure true love happens when you don't have the desire to "want" another person when you already are involved. If you truly love someone, you want that person....just the one....unless you and he/she are swingers. In that case, then have free love all the time. Haha!
