Here is what's funny. I had recently gone to the store to purchase some condoms. I could not find them anywhere within the store. So I go to the pharmacy to ask where to find them. They had recently moved them near the counter and locked up. I was surprised for this recent move, and expressed this to the clerk. She says that they were being stolen too many times, so it was what was needed to happen. I explained that if ANYTHING was to be stolen from a store, wouldn't this be the one item to be less critical over? If anything, these people who are immature enough to steal condoms are probably also immature enough to not use one if not accessible.

Now, please do not get me wrong. I do not condone stealing ONE BIT. However, there are far too many other things that do not have security tags, nor locked up that are just as small, and cost just as much as condoms. I just would have these ***** steal the condoms if it may prevent another unwanted child into this world to where I may have to pay for out of my taxes.

Yes, this (condoms) is just a smidgen of what they in the article are referring to. However, I feel it still serves within the same principle of what people are willing to do (or not do in this matter) to still have sex with or without the proper protection or care afterwards.

Now, here is a question.... What would be cheaper for the state? Abortions or the morning after pill? Just a thought. Perhaps if the morning after pill was more accessible and cheaper, women may use this to prevent abortions if abortions are what is the main focus within the state's minds. Just a thought.

My god how ignorant I see some people being. First of all Population control is part of what they do. I know women who got birth control through them and never had to resort to abortions. Likewise they are about STD prevention. Besides, it was the Democratic committees that were funding abortions in Africa as part of their foreign aid programs.


So some of you want to do away with an organization that does help more than harm? Well how many of you want to encourage a return of Dr. Coat Hangar? I am curious to see what your answers to the dilemma of not having a service like this available? We just keep popping out unwanted pregnancies? And we point a finger and say "Look at how many black babies they kill!" Lets all jump the racism bandwagon again! In Redding most of the women visiting there were and are WHITE! I knew two people up there that worked in Planned Parenthood.

In 2006, 57.4 percent of the abortions in Georgia were performed on black women, even though blacks make up about 30 percent of the population, according to the most recent figures from the federal Centers for Disease Control. Of the 37 states that reported abortion data by race, Georgia was second only to New York and Texas in the number of abortions performed on black women. Only Mississippi and Maryland reported a higher percentage of abortions going to black women than Georgia.

Among women from the 37 areas that reported race for 2007, white women (including Hispanic and non-Hispanic white women) accounted for the largest percentage (55.9%) of abortions; black women accounted for 36.5% and women of other racial groups for 7.6% of abortions (Table 12). Black women had higher abortion rates and ratios than white women and women of other races (Table 12). Among the 27 reporting areas that provided data every year during 1998--2007, the percentage distribution of abortions by race changed little; although abortions among women in the other racial category increased, the percentage remained low (Table 13). Abortion rates decreased during 2006--2007 among women from all racial groups, continuing the long-term decrease during 1998--2007 that had been interrupted by a 1-year increase during 2005--2006. However, because the increase in abortion rates during 2005--2006 had been much greater for white women (4%) than for black women (1%), the abortion rate was 2% higher for white women in 2007 than it had been in 2005 but 1% lower than it had been for black women. it would be interesting to research why? we have survived this long without mandating people 'learn' basic infant care, so why are we at a point now that it should be a formal and mandatory requirement?
