I use the word "sorry" like I would "excuse me".

If I offend someone, I (generally) offer an apology... which is something totally different, to me anyway.... requires more words. And as others have pointed out, requires more than just words.

But no, I don't any problem doing any of those things...

Well, it has meaning... but a different meaning (to me).
Sorry works for smaller offenses... accidently bumping into someone in a crowded room... they get an I'm sorry."

While saying you’re sorry is in some way an admission of guilt and you have recognized that you have offended, hurt or angered someone, it doesn’t necessarily mean much. Unless you understand that to be truly sorry you have the responsibility to not do it again.

I honestly have nothing to say sorry about. However, she has been saying and meaning sorry since the divorce. She knows she had done wrong, and feels guilty about it.

If I was however in that predicament, I would have no problem at all saying sorry if I had done anything at all to do with the result in her feelings being hurt, or an inexcusable breakup.

Now, past women I had relations with that I have ran across within the "web dating scene", I have certainly given my apologies to for which they greatly deserved.

You don't have to love someone to accept their apology. Neither do you have to love someone to say you're sorry to them. Loving someone and saying you're sorry are two different things.
