I just dont get it, enlighten me. I have so many guys tell me that they are shocked that I answered their email. 
Why should that be shocking. 
If someone takes their time, and directs it to me by emailing me, the very least I could do, would be to email them back. I answer all my emails, I would think it rude not to. 
They dont always get the answer they want to hear. I usually read their profile, (no matter if I think their picture is cute or not),and respond knowing their profile when I do. If they are too young(which happens alot to me) I simply tell them that, and I usually add in that I hope they arent hurt, mad, or disappointed. If they dont live near me its easy, because I already have a boyfriend all the way across the country. And if im just plain not interested, I just say,"sorry, but I am not interested at this time, but thank you for considering me".I think thats a nice tactful way to say it. I dont expect men to be perfect, and I certainly dont judge them, who am I, or are we, to do that??? I just think, it would be nice, if more women responded to their emails.You have to have at least once written someone, and they didnt write back...how did it make you feel??? Terrible huh? So at least be nice enough to say "no thank you". JMO. P.S. I also write in the end of every letter that I write ..."Good luck in finding your dream girl". Yea, in the same respect I am not very tactful when it comes to messaging others. I just say "whats up" in hopes of opening up a convo, but I'm not gonna go into a huge ordeal just to send the perfect message and I don't expect to get responses back; when I do its nice but I don't let it bother me. You know, you get back, what you put it, so if your not putting any heart and soul into your message, thats probably why your not getting an answer. |

I don't get it? I wasn't complaining. I have met awesome people off of this website, I had an awesome 2 1/2 year relationship from someone off this site. What point are you trying to make?

You know, when I first signed on here, I used to send some e-mails out to some local people. And I never got a reply. Not one. So I just stopped! If I wanted to be ignored, I could have stayed married! I suspect, based on my own experience, and many others I've heard, that it is sort of unusual for a guy to actually get a response. I know I'd never send anyone a first message again! 
Thats crazy!!! Your never gonna meet someone like that. YOu gotta put yourself out there alittle, ya know. Like I just said, You get back, what you put it,and not only that, one of those girls you didnt write first, could have been "the one". You never know unless you try! |
