Hmmm my first husband I was 18 and fell in love with the idea of love and being married. Hmm he ran off with someone else.
My second I fell in love with the idea of being safe and protected and having a happy family. he ended up abusive and very unsafe. So I really have no idea what the right reason is, How do you know you are making a huge mistake until you are buried in it. when you think you love someone of course everything seems wonderful.. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO sometimes my love choices just plain old suck..

I had a pretty bad childhood and so did my first husband; we were friends in school so we decided that since he was going into the Army, we'd get married and then I'd run away to him after he got stationed FAR away from our home state. I was 16 and he was 18.
He was gay. Oops. |

Um, yes I have. More than once. But truth is, each one contains a lesson. Still, it wasn't enough to prevent my last "mistake".

I once feel in love with our drummer's wife, and that ain't good! I had it bad. I totally respected their relationship, but I was hooked. Nothing ever happened over the 5 years of hanging together, but it took a long time to forget.
Falling in love is an odd event in itself! Not to be confused with falling in lust - been there too! But now that a nice chunk of love has been ripped out of me, at least I have my fallimg into love in check a bit. I just hope the trust of deep love isn't gone forever! I think anyone thats not the 'right' person is the 'wrong' person,, by default...lol
Ive had plenty, considering Im still alone. Ive loved many and confused that for being IN LOVE and they have done the same, Ive loved blindly without looking at true compatibility or hoping that love was the only place where we needed compatibility. Big mistakes, on my part. |

Not sure I can see it as a mistake to take a chance on love. Not every hand wins. But, a winning hand is priceless. But, until you got the guts to fail....you won't have the guts to win.
