I dont think its simple to find the balance. I think the extreme of allowing everyone COMPLETE freedom with no guidelines or rules(Which have to be decided upon by SOMEONE), is as dangerous an idea as not allowing anyone FREEDOM without others deciding their every step the former is my idea of chaos and LACK of true COMMUNity the idea is my idea of prison and LACK of true FREEDOM a balance is where individuals COMMUNE together in a way that they can remain their individuallity WHILE considering the INDIVIDUALITY and comfort and feelings of others Ok, but how do you do that, if the answer to solving an issue, is to blanket ban something? |

Like attracts like.
Communities attract basically people of like natures who agree to live by the rules of that community. If they absolutely refuse or can't, then they will chose to leave or face the consequences. But in this world as a whole you can basically do as you please. You can probably find a community that agrees with you. If you like to be naked, there are communities that live like that. If you want to be sovereign, look at what the Amish have done. We are part of a community by choice. If you want no part of it, you can hopefully move to a remote place in Alaska where you never see anyone if you so chose. The world is a very diverse place. I fantasize living in a remote village of natives in South America where the weather requires very little clothing and the natives run around very scantily clad or naked and take baths in waterfalls. Maybe in my next life. |

I dont think blanket ban is the answer, I think majority rules is the answer and finding a majority that most suits our own standard of life or we could go with apartheid,, where minority rules but someone is gonna determine common rules and regulations somehow |

That's not what a free society is. |

That's not what a free society is. a democracy is not a FREE society, it is a society where the people have a voice and the majority vote usually makes the decision there is no COMPLETELY FREE society unless its a society of one because part of a COMMUNITY is to organize around things in COMMON to be considerate of your PART in the community instead of just concerned with your INDIVIDUAL desires and longings,,, |

You are responsible for yourself and what you do or don't, no one else. You do wrong or bad, you take the consequence and you alone. That's what would make things a lot better than group think in effect of what is good and bad. |

For all the fun that gets poked at those in retail, I'd make it mandatory that EVERYONE, before going into their chosen field of work, work two years in the industry.
