If I could change the world, I would stop all the wars, the senseless killing, and the bigotry that exists. Okay... how would you do that? With your magical powers? Just wondering. I wish I had the magical powers to do that but I don't.

If I could change the world, I would stop all the wars, the senseless killing, and the bigotry that exists. Okay... how would you do that? With your magical powers? Just wondering. I wish I had the magical powers to do that but I don't. The closest I got was to divorce my husband. That way, I didn't have to resort to the senseless killing.

would it really have been senseless? or killing of the senseless? Well... He would have probably beaten me senseless, and while I was senseless, I would have shot him. Yep.. a senseless killing. and I may have ended up in prison for the rest of my life.

Here is my logic. In Colorado, we have what is lovingly called a "make my day" law in honor of Dirty Harry, the movie. If someone comes into your home and threatens your life, you can kill/shoot him legally. However, if you are married to him, it becomes another matter. Even if he is trying to kill you, you may not be believed and you may end up in prison. That is why I decided never to get married again. If some a-hole comes into my house and threatens me or tries to hurt or kill me, or rape me.. I can legally shoot him while I am in fear of my life, especially if I am protecting my family/children. When you are married, it is just looked at as another domestic problem. While a man is expected to be the protector of his family, and sometimes is, who will protect his family against him if he turns on them? It is often very hard to find someone who will.
