I know its the wrong place to post, and I don't mean it to be a pity party or whatever, but I need to get this out. Has anyone ever just emotionally broke down for no apparent reason? I was just listening to the radio and all of a sudden I started crying, and I cant freaking stop. Its like Years of pent up emotion just came spilling out, and I dunno what triggered it. I dunno what to do, who to call, or what. I will admit I'm scared.

I've had that happen hon. Most would say that's because I'm female, but its more along the lines of there are a lot of people who don't show emotion and I am one of them types.

Crying spells suck.. Cryin' releases tension and stress so in tha end, it's good for you. Try not to freak out over it Cloudy.. It's normal.. Not everyone always knows why they are cryin' or why they are upset but once tha rain stops, it leaves you feelin' better..

Hang in there Allan...like others have said, it is good to just let all of your emotions out. Just stay in your house, cry it all out and then take a nap. When you wake up, you will feel much better.
How do I know this? It has happened to me many times. Hang in there! |

Never know when it's going to happen
Not just crying...it's very awkward when it happens publicly and you cry (or laugh) at the MOST inappropriate time |

Happened to me for 18 straight months...now it's gone.

It is a good thing, Allen. Don't try to stop those tears. It cleanses the body. I know it makes it hard to see the monitor but just go with it. During my grieving experience I couldn't stop it even if I wanted to. I am glad you are letting it out. That stuff needs to come out and when it is over you will feel better.

Allen...It's nothing to be afraid of...It's the years of pent up emotion that's all...It will always come out one way or another because it has to be released somehow...Tears are healing!!!!!!!!!!
This is the prime reason we should never hold things in...Because they always come out one way or another...It can be the easy way...Just giving into expressing them...Or it can be the hard way and they have to force themselves out...That is what's going on with you right now!!!!!!!!! |
