So, I haven't been able to contact unemployment with any of the numbers, and I went down to the office today, but there's no more office anymore, it's all done over the phone, which they don't seem to answer.
Try Going on-line to file your unemployment claim that's the way it's done these days in the State in which you live.

That's the first place I tried.
Try this I'm sure you can file your claim here for your unemployment benefits for your state of Ohio { State of Ohio Unemployment-ODJFS-Online }

Yeah, tried that. I need to talk to someone, but I can't get a hold of anyone, and OneStop only does job searches.

Humm not sure what you are having to do for I filed for unemployment online and did all my check in's online only time I had to talk to someone is when it had stopped and had it reinstated which took a whole five minutes.....Everything else was done online....

Yesterday I received some bummer news.

Two jobs I applied for wouldn't talk with me after doing a credit check. Don't understand why your personal credit history will preclude you from getting a job, especially with so many being laid off these days.

The third I was hoping for is paying lower than I can afford to accept at this point.

Unemployment is still questionable.

Keeping my fingers crossed on a whole bunch of things.

If everything goes south on me, I will have to pack up and leave this state to find someone willing to put me up for a bit until I find a job. That would mean leaving my son behind...

If I get unemployment it should give me a lot more time to look...

Our laws has changed since the 9-11 tragedy and the companys are taking advantage of this by digging into our personal history and looking at everything that they claim is negative, that may be a threat to the way they do there business. To them., it shows them your real character on how you do business. This way they can screen out all [as they put it] undesirables. By our states laws they "don't" have to tell or even contect said person about why there application for employment has not been addressed.

That's really a bummer! Next they will be checking our health records and taking our DNA.

I once predicted a split in society. It will be those who are 'in the system' and those who are not.

The split could grow to where the 'underground' society would be born with no birth certificates and basically will not exist in the society. They will have no credit, etc. They will be the 'non persons.'

When a 'non person' is killed, the murderer gets off scott free because basically that person did not exist in the system.

If you are in the system, they have access to everything about you. Your DNA, your health records, your criminal records, your credit, job, etc. There is no privacy.

Sort of like the two worlds in the movie "Demolition man."laugh

Bingo. Guess who are not even existing to the system?

Mostly illegals , but there also legals and all the way to red blooded Americans as well.

Illegals are easy to explain. They haven't left the country, neither have a drivers' license or any sort of legal document and they do not own a phone or a house or a car loan etc. Of course, they also don't have any sort of benefits, no credit score, no social security number, no real phone number to contact, nothing.

They are completely invisible to the system.

Then, you got those people who are actuall USED TO BE part of the system, but they managed to pull themselves out, either voluntarily or involuntarily.

They may had a job once, also a house and bills, but perhaps they went bankrupt and sold everything and shut down their bank accounts. They work at jobs that pay under the table or seasonal jobs and only take cash as a payment.
They do not file tax anymore and do not open credit cards, neither have any sort of credit score.

I can not only speculate about this, but confirm all this.

What you have left is people who work for the system (government jobs) or people who work for companies who are working for the system versus people who are "deattached from the Matrix".

These people who are not part of the system anymore, they are also angry and sick and tired of the people , who are still part of the system, because when the time comes, most people are selfish and they would not bite the hand that feeds them (the government) because they would be afraid of loosing their jobs or wealth, so they will always vote in a particular way, that benefits them, even if their choice ruins everything else.

For example: A government employee never dares to question the government and will always loyally follow the "orders", regardless what the order is and if it's right or wrong. They won't rebel , because if they are afraid, that the government can access his or her files, or her identity would be revealed, the person would loose the job and would have to join the unemployment line and that looks very scary nowadays.

The government created a perfect defense system by spreading even more wider into everything and hiring up all the people who are desperate. For them, all they ask is their loyalty, and later they use it against the person if he or she dares to protest or disagree.

The society is ripping apart, and 2 sides are forming. It's not a party line or anything compared to democrats or republicans and other silly stuff, but it comes down to government loyals vs independent people. The government loyals are aided by the government and the mainstream media and the rich elite (whom they work for), while the independent rebels are aided with by everyone else who shares their pain.

I work for myself but I still maintain an identity in the system. I have friends who are 'freemen' and have no driver's licences. I try to keep a low profile but uncle Sam knows where to find me. I also have good friends working in the 'big brother' sector. They can punch up an address and up pops a picture of your house. This was before google earth started doing it.

They are watching.

There is no unemployment office here anymore, it's all done over the phone and internet, but I'm waiting for my PIN now.

I finally got a job over a month ago and when I tore my knee 2 weeks ago I was put on "unpaid" medical leave i.e. no more job. At least I have another paycheck coming and have a possible job on the horizon.
