IF,,,,ANY of you stay here very long,,you will find that some friends who (in the back of your mind) YOU always thought they and you MIGHT be a great Match up,,,,,well,,,THEY will find their other and move on,,over, and over, and over again,,,
SO ACT ON YOUR THOUGHTS,,,don't wait for THEM to be found by anyone,,BUT YOU!!!!

And I wish you all a happy ending upon leaving HERE with your OTHER to be,,,MAKE LIFE HAPPEN,,DON'T WAIT for IT to come to YOU,,as IT may NEVER happen,,,,Good luck on finding Your Best,,who Makes you both

Yea definately don't wait for things to come to you. I did that and life passed me right on by and it took me almost a whole year to catch back up again. Great advice.

Thanks for the input Scorpio,,and I have acted on many,,but as they were the wrong ones to do that with,,and repeated wrongs,,,don't help,,but a year or five of them,,,sometimes we act or see our moves ,,in the moment,,not the heart,,,?

But -- yeah, when I first signed up, I tried contacting a few people I thought I might click with -- and never got a response. Not once.

It's just as easy (if not easier) to be ignored NOT sending messages as it is when you're sending them....

And now I never see anyone who seems remotely compatible at all. So I assume that if I ever do meet someone here, it will be a lurker who contacts me out of the blue.

I will always be me,,and open to SEE another,,,but Lex,,,somany ladies through these years on here,,who i FELT such a really close bond with as just their friend,,then as each one would be all excited and write me or callme telling me their GREAT news,,,I FOUND LOVE!!,,and I would join in with their happiness and be cool with it all,,and really HAPPY for them,,,,yet,,,,kind of kick myself for NOT ever really asking them about the possibilty of a US,,,lol,,,so,,Live and learn,,and go forward..I just did this post as to give some insight to others here like six months or so,,as they shall have this happen to them,,,like we have..

Terry, thanks for the advice. It's actually something I gave thought to last week when I was doing a bit of soul-searching. When I found the answers I was looking for, they hit me with impact. My thinking actually altered because of it. Now I want to hang on like a pit bull because I may never have something like this again.

Terry, I've had that happen, too -- where a friend here would write and tell me they met someone, and it looked like it might be leading somewhere. Had one tell me something like that just last week, in fact!

But I guess the difference is that it's never been anyone I thought I might want to try a relationship with, so I can't really kick myself over it....in a perfect world, we'd all be able to find the right person without a lot of hassles, and we'd have fun sites and socializing sites and talk sites and interest sites, but there'd be no need for "dating" sites, per se....

But we don't live in a perfect world....

And I do wish the best for all my friends here, that they CAN and WILL find the right person. And I know that's probably not the most realistic hope in the world, but I've never been that much of a realist....

Well,,a bit over dramatic,with shades of distraught-ed emotions falling out,,,but a lasting way to DETER others from WANTING to just pass their lives away on here,,,as five freakin years ,,,man,,never would I have thought that,,when I joined,,now,,its a bad reality......lol

Well, I am not sure why you all havent been grabbed, because it is really just talking and seeing you all here, that has restored my faith in men and made me see that you all do have feelings and arnt some mad alien race that was dropped here to be horrid to women.
