For Steak Diane you would need:

Filet mignons
Cognac
Butter
Sterno for the
fondue pot.
Good company.

Lose the fish, avocadoes and asparagus.
Your aura will thank you.

A perfect dinner--hmm thats a good one, Are you talking about going out or dining in....

Out to dinner for me--would include the ocean crashing in the background for sure...Some drinks, pasta or filet mignon and grilled veggies.....yummer. And definitely an open conversation.

If you are talking about dining in....these can be fun. I would wait till your date comes so you can cook together. . .it's great conversation and good way to share tips and flavors. . .

Are you talking about hosting a dinner party though, you mentioned who should you leave out at dinner??

Ok
Firstly the 5 things i have to have to ejoy dinner.
!. a relaxed place to eat.
2. someone to make me laugh
3 something that i know what i'm eating.
4 No fancy manners or foods.
5. a nice variety of foods.

3 things that would ruin it for me.

1. Someone who worried about how i behaved, what i was wearing and if i wasnt holding my fork correctly...

i am going to have fun, i am going to laugh, and i will probably not want to sit and eat correctly so do not expect it. I am just metongue2

Not including the dessert and drink this makes 5

-King crab legs and lobster (ALREADY shelled so no work WHILE eating)
- a cheesy fondu sauce
- mixed steamed home-grown veggies (tomatos, carrots, and green beans)
- baked potato with sour cream, butter, and chives
- tomato basil bread

- Peach tea

- Pecan Pie and coffee

I love a "fancy" home cooked meal as opposed to something that you would rarely eat at a fancy restaurant. Mainly, bc I've been to those places and been very unsatisfied.

3 things to forget:
Any kind of soup, anything "instant", anything that can't be good by itself.

Just gimmee a couple of beef and bean burritos, a mug of beer and a good movie on TV and I'm happy as a clam. Now, if I had a dinner companion, that would be different.
