I bought a single steak...came home and cooked it and ate it alone...that made me think about what makes me feel lonely.

There is something about a steak that just should involve another person.

So what makes you feel lonely?

Normally to me it is when you go somewhere and it is all couples there......Other then that I normally don't feel too lonely..... I actually don't mind sitting down to eat alone I just kick back do a bit of posting or watch tv....... and enjoy my meal.

..knowing i won't feel their touch...no matter how vividly i can remember and imagine it..that when i open my eyes there will be...nothing not a heart beat or a scent or the vestiges of warmth...

When you are watching TV and something happens in an episode that reminds of something happened in your life and you turn to say something..yet no one there to talk to..

Usually when I am over-tired I miss having someone around to comfort me. Sometimes first thing in the morning...same as rlynne stated!

Wow reading that made me feel lonely....

Txs I used to be like that..loved the freedom to do as i please...but for some reason lately..things like buying one steak makes me feel lonely...wish I could get back to feeling good about being on my own *sigh*

couples together, TV, Movies, Even Family,,as MOST our couples,,,lol

Or when something is funny...and you're laughing all by your lonesome...like 4u's post *sigh again*

Sundays I usually spent the entire day doing things with my soon to be ex-wife, and I still tend to get a little lonesome on Sunday afternoons.

Sigh. Now I have to get all mushy.

I remember the simple, silly things that made me happy. To me, it's those kind of moments when you know you have something special. And, I also believe that when you lose those moments (or they become less and less of an occurance), then your relationship goes into the danger zone of falling into oblivion.

A song can trigger these memories. Or a movie, a scene in a movie, etc. But when it happens, it makes me remember.

i guess missing my Dog that passed away ,just a few months ago that was alway there for me and yes sometimes that special huggggg from a true honest lady who really cares i not talking about hugging 1 night stand girl as to me i guess i really got to know a person before i jump into bed or feel the true comfort of a real huggggg , i also feel lonely when i remember my dad that passed away years ago and also a lot of friends i lost due to cancer,heart attacks ,and other things in the past 3 years i lost so many great friends that passed away not that long ago i really never had time to deal with it 1 day i might ,that makes me feel lonely too,but i got to think positive even thou i still living my mom had cancer years ago and got it removed in time and still living ,i am a bright guy who learns a lot of new things and love to joke to hide the loneliness
but sometimes i hold to much in ,but then again why should i burden anyone with health prob or anything else i try and just be happy and hope all have a happy life and think positive and live a long happy life and get what they want in life cheers

Okay I don't know about you guys but now its so sad its making me laugh...

bout the only thing that makes me feel lonely anymore is a romantic comedy movie. therefore I don't go to them.....very often
