57 - If you listen to everyone you meet, regardless or what you think at the time, you will learn something new.

Do your art, but don't wreck your art if it doesn't lend itself to paying the bills.

At 54 I've learned ...
Even a stranger living on the streets has something to offer.

Feel each step that you take. It will make the journey last longer.

A smile can turn someones life around.

Listen more, talk less.

Laugh instead of get angry at your mistakes.

Tell the people you love "I love you".

There is more than one Soul Mate or Love Of Your Life.

Remember the happy thoughts, forget the sad thoughts.

Be thankful daily.

Praise God.

37.

I've learned that we make choices, and those choices (be it big or small) do play a part in the path our life goes. When you don't like your path, you make a choice to either change it. Or, you stay in your rut. And from what I can tell, no one ever got to where they wanted to by staying in a rut.

State your age and tell us what you have learned in life that is important to how you live your life now.

I will never be done learning
I would rather give than take
And if i have done nothing more than make someone else smile in a day then its a day that has not been wasted

57 soon to be 58.

Life is short, precious and full of choices. The good ones will help you and the bad ones will hurt you. Treat everyone with respect and dignity, even though you feel they don't deserve it.

Military has taught me discipline, respect , and never being late. Don't make promises you can't keep and keep the ones you make.

Listen to people, laugh with them and sometimes even cry with them. Shows you have feelings, empathy , and that you are not cold hearted.

Learn all you can while you are living and don't be afraid to speak your mind.

You know nothing with any certainty, which means that there are certainly some things that you could know. But in reality... Nevermind.

23, and have learned that God exists and is far more different than we are told, and much more loving. That we as humans have more worth than we realize. Realizing that, has totally changed how I view others, their actions, and myself.

Age 35. Growing up is over rated. I've decided not to. I've learned to be myself and that it doesn't matter what other people think of me as long as I can live with myself. Laugh every day.

52.......I've learned that one should never let what others say cause you to second yourself...... Always take each day one day at a time and always take time out each day to laugh..... life is too short not to have laughter mixed within it every day....bigsmile

It can't help but make you thankful that life is what it is. You could laugh at things and people and relieve this stress. Life is for enjoying, not wasting.
