A ship must always have a captain. The title alone elicits a certain amount of respect. I have also not been here too long, but you seem to actually live up to the name. I can't picture Tom Hanks portraying the kind of captain I'd like to serve under.

A good freind of mine equated me to a Tom Hanks kind of guy here on Mingle. This friend contends that most of the guys here hold me with high regards, and the majority of the ladies think I'm cuddly. I think she is just a really good friend, boosting my ego. What do you think? how r u doin' cuddly good guy? need a little strokin'?

The funny thing is that Jon doesn't have an ego....you tell him he looks good and he blushes and says "why? I think you are just biased." But then again.....maybe I am a little bit biased.

I don't really know you to tell my friend i see that you been on here for some time but from what i seen in the forums you are always been Respectful and Down to earth and if people Complement you Enjoy it and if your Ego gets big thats ok as long as your happy and healthy and good to others cheers my friend have a great day:)

I didn't see this til now. I think, because you are friendly to everyone, you are well respected by both guys and gals (notice reference to my fav game LOL). You make it clear that you are committed and yet you're always free with compliments and innocent flirts, that makes you a favorite with the ladies.

You and Eileen are both aces in my book. So you've definitely got the support of the "intimidating and complicated" constituency. We could use more like both of you here! Lexicon is obviously right again. You are genuine, kind, thoughtful and honest. I don't know Tom Hanks personally but he might be like you.
