hope and past are not even conducive in the same sentence. hope meaning something enlightening to your future.... To say Giving up all hope of a better past. .= = =no sense at all Uhhh Babe...... the mistake you are making is to think we can even spell "condusive"...I am from Texas...they don't teach that left wing liberal hippy communist panzy crap around here. We also have a problem with driving on ice and trying to think with our peckers....we ain't good at either one of them. now in texas, using ice and our peckers is a different story altogether... speak for yourself, ese

Forgiveness means giving up all hope of a better past. what do you think this means?? to me it means letting go of the baggage and resentments and live today for today...what happened in the past cant be altered, if it was bad, it was bad..no point in dwelling on it and squandering your life because of it.

Forgiveness to me means, forgiving that other person, when you forgive them, they don't have no power over you, this is a lesson I admit that I am still learning. i agree and to me when she says they have no power over you it means you have let the emotions you had over the incident go. that it will no longer be a disturbance to you.

Well whats the bibles view on Forgiveness lets see cause i agree with it :))))) Seeing that God created us he is just a few scriptures can teach Love and forgiveness Matthew 6:12-15 And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins............Luke 6:37 Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.....Colossians 3:13 Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Even as God forgave you,so you do also....Matthew 18:21-22 Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, "Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother when he sins against me? Up to seven times?" Forgiveness means giving up all hope of a better past. what do you think this means?? When you have not forgiven, you always think of what could have been. The past could have been better, IF. Once you forgive, you accept your past for what it is, no matter how ugly, you would not change it. That's why you give up all hope of a better past. :)
