Everyone in the path of this storm TAKE IT SERIOUS!!! We are used to it in Nebr. but i cant remember it this bad!! Wind chill of 34 below and white out conditions!! Its no joke folks and its coming your way , be prepared!!

Well here in Ontario it's already -10 and it's not snowing yet but it's suppose too. It's going to go down to -10 tonight with a wind chill of -20 and were suppose to get up to 30cm of snow!
I have to 11-7 tomorrow because of the storm. I am hoping and praying that the roads are cleared up by then and I make it to work safely. Everyone please drive safely when and if you have to venture out tonight or tomorrow in this aweful weather. Excellent post lilbug!

Been all over Omaha & Council Bluffs, no problem. Will put plow on & start pushing snow, when wind calms down. |

 Found out last night before I went to bed my pipes are froze shshsh Gawd I wish it would warm up today but doubt it for it is 12 here now with the wind chill factor of 0. High today of 18 Ohhhh well guess it could be worse it could have been my electric that went out.....

Sorry about your frozen pipes, Kristi.
 I was worried about ours too, so I opened the cabinet doors under the kitchen sink before I went to bed last night, seem to work. At least the snow has moved on, but I guess we have another round coming this weekend. The sun is out today, doubt that much melts off as it is only 10 degrees here, but it is good to see the sun and the wind has stopped blowing so much. We didn't lose power, satellite, phone service or Internet, so all-in-all, it's just the huge snow drifts we are dealing with. I gotta give the plow trucks around here kudos too, they did a great job of clearing HWY 54 and traffic is passin' on thru at a pretty normal pace. If you've got pics of the weather where you are, please post them. |
