I'm back! Being on call at work is easy, and the time adds up nicely!

just found out that one of the greatest shows in television history is coming out on DVD on Aug 14:

THE FUGITIVE!!!!

I was too young to remember the show when it originally aired(I was born in 1962), but watched it in reruns on the A & E network in the early 90s.

So, in honor of this event, it's time(as if anyone couldn't guess at this point-LOL), for a little FUGITIVE trivia!

Here goes:

1-Name the actor who played Lt. Gerard.
2-Name the actor who played the one-armed man.
3-Name the one-armed man's character name.
4-In real life, how did the actor playing the one-armed man lose his arm?
5-In the show(revealed in the final episode), how was it proven that the one-armed man killed Dr. Kimble's wife?
6-The final episode of the Fugitive became the most-watched television show in history up to that point. What TV show broke the Fugitive's most-watched record?

As always, GOOD LUCK TO ALL!!!!!

You don't have to answer all six. You'll get credit for each one you answer.

I think Barry Morse played Lt. Gerard,
and is the answer to #6 the Who Shot JR episode of Dallas -- the season finale episode -- not where it was revealed?

Way to go, Summerlady! You managed to knock out 2 of the 6 questions! Congrats! That just leaves 4 for the rest of our players:

1-The actor playing the 1 armed man on the Fugitive TV series
2-His character's name
3-How did this actor lose his arm in real life?
4-In the final episode, how was it proven that the 1 armed man killed Kimble's wife?

Good Luck to All with the rest of these.

Bill Raisch played Fred Johnson---The One Armed Man

Raisch lost his arm in a fire during WWII.

A WWII vet witnessed the killing and wanted to kill the One Armed Man. He was seen on the news during a bar fight.

3 out of 4, Eileen! Great going.

Sorry about that last question, but that's not how the one-armed man's guilt was proven.

Here's the last question once more:

On the TV show The Fugitive, according to the final episode, how was it proven that the one-armed man killed Kimble's wife?

I'll reveal the answer later today, if no one guesses right before then.

Everybody's kinda buzzing around the answer, but not hitting the target. So here goes:

The Kimble's next-door neighbor(can't think of his name)heard a commotion, and came over just in time to see the 1-armed man kill Mrs. Kimble. Ashamed that he did nothing to stop it, he never spoke up about what he saw. In the final battle btween Kimble & Johnson, where Johnson fell off the water tower to his death, the neighbor finally agreed to testify what he saw.

You were really close, Eileen.
LaMom, I think in that final episode, the 1 armed man DID try to blackmail the neighbor.

I know I can't wait for the DVDs to start coming out!

Great to see you too, LAMom.

Now it's time for:

CARTOON CHARACTER VOICE-OVER CORNER!!!!

Who provided the voices for thse cartoon characters:

Hong-Kong Phooey?
Uncle Martin(1970's cartoon "My Favorite Martians")?
Batman(1970's cartoon)?
Tennessee Tuxedo?
Underdog?

GOOD LUCK TO ALL!!!!!

Hint: All five voices were provided by very well-known actors.

Hey Carebear,

You're 1 for 2.

Congrats on Hong Kong Phooey(a vastly underrated cartoon, in my opinion).

I think you're thinking of the 70's show "Super Friends", where Casey Casem voiced Robin. Don't know who Batman was in that. The show I'm asking about is a Filmation Studios Batman show that ran in the late 70's.

1 down, 4 to go.

1 for 2 again, Carebear.

Congrats for the Adam West guess. Burt Ward was Robin, too. If you still don't remember the exact cartoon, it was the one that had that annoying little character "Bat-Mite" in it.

No to the Uncle Martin voice. Good guess, tho.

That leaves 2 more:

Uncle Martin(My Favorite Martians cartoon-mid 70's)
Underdog

You're almost there!
