Hi Eileena!

Great goung on the address, badge #, and Potsie's real name.

But, sorry on George's brother's name(not Archie's).
Here's the questions remaining:

1-Who played Faceman on the 2-hour pilot of the A-Team, and why wasn't Dirk Benedict in it?

2-What do the shows Airwolf, Quantum Leap, Magnum P.I., and JAG have in common? Besides all being 1-hour dramatic series.

3- Frank Gorshin played the Riddler on the Batman TV series, but on a 2-part episode during the 2nd season, another actor played the Riddler.Name him. (Hint: this actor starred in a popular 60's sitcom).

GOOD LUCK TO ALL!

Sorry, Carebear, you're gonna have to try. But I will give the George Jefferson's brother answer. It was Henry, and I don't know the actor's name who played him.

LA Mom wins the "TV shows in common" question!

2 questions remain.

The A-Team question and the Batman question.

If no one answers, I'll reveal them later today!

IT"S LATER!

Answers to two unanswered questions:

1- Tim Dunigan played Faceman in the pilot. NBC execs decided they wanted to get the show started early, so they could premiere it right after the 1983 Super Bowl. Dirk Benedict was on a hunting trip in Montana at the time, and couldn't be reached(the age before cell phones).

2-John Astin played the Riddler in the season 2 episode. Of course, he's better known as Gomez Addams of Addams Family fame.

Be back later with some more questions. I hope more people try to answer them.

OK, carebear, here's a tough one. What do these sitcoms have in common(and no, "they weren't funny" isn't the answer).

The Brady Bunch
Gomer Pyle, U.S.M.C.
Archie Bunker's Place

GOOD LUCK TO ALL!

P.S.: If anyone has any questions, please ask. Let's keep this thread alive!

Carebear, I honestly didn't know the answer to your H.R. Puffinstuff(sp) question. And I DID watch it as a kid. Great question!

Here's the answer to my earlier one, what do these shows have in common:
Gomer Pyle, U.S.M.C.
The Brady Bunch
Archie Bunker's Place

While "all spinoffs" is technically correct, you should know I wouldn't make it easy for anyone. The answer I was looking for is:

All 3 featured character actor Allan Melvin in a recurring role.
Sgt. Hacker(Gomer), Sam the butcher(Bradys), and Barney(Archie).

I'll be back soon with another round of questions.
Be ready, everyone.

Wasn't that the guy called "Big Money" Grip who claimed to be Lamont's father, because he slept with Elizabeth, but, it turned out, he actually snuck in the wrong window and slept with Esther?
