I usually start with the little things.
Rearrange a room, the drawer, or change the color scheme of a room. Then I go to the hair and the clothes.

From there I just keep going until I feel satisfied. Very easy to start.

You know what, that's a good idea. Maybe I'll go buy some paint this weekend and paint my room.

Move...start over....join new groups...life is wonderful when you open yourself up to new things...change small stuff or big stuff...just do something that will make you smile.

I think moving is a BIG thing. I think that will help alot.

Currently, unfortunately, I live at home with my mom & dad. Finances have made it so that I can't afford to move out. But...I've applied for a couple of new jobs that will pay more $$$, so hopefully I'll be able to move out this year.

I usually roll me up a gigantic blunt and light it up...then forget what I was doing, then I fall asleep...sorry, probably not very helpful...

I feel like I need a change in my life, but I don't know what. I don't know if it's as simple as a new hair cut/makeover, or if it's a new job, a new place to live (out of the state), etc.

When you guys feel the need for a change in your life, how do you go about figuring out exactly what it is that needs to change?

I don't 'figure'...

I just put one foot in front of the other in a different direction...

change comes.

I'm pretty good at reshuffling my own deck. I've been known to move across country and take up new jobs and hobbies.
The problem is "wherever you go, there you are..."

I'm currently experimenting with not seeing the grass as greener anywhere else and instead I'm attempting to improve on what I already have going on in my relationships, career and interests.

For instance this past summer I took most of my perfectly good furniture to goodwill. I couldn't just go out and buy new stuff all at once but little by little since then, I've managed to de-clutter my living space and at least for now I'm happy being more spartan in my tastes.

Also, I try to eat better and that's having a positive effect. I feel better and it's becoming a routine to cook more healthy.

They say that it takes 21 days to create good habits and I agree that that pretty much works for me.

One suggestion I have is to rent and watch the DVD " What the bleep do we know?" http://www.whatthebleep.com/

Going down the rabbit hole is a good option that most folks miss...

Good luck with your changes !
