In general, do you think that a man wants a barefoot and pregnant gal...? Barefoot doesn't bother me, but I definitely do NOT want anyone who's pregnant! Seriously, I'm really looking for someone who is intelligent and creative. Someone I can have long, convoluted, intellectual discussions with. Someone who sees life as more than booze and babies. Unfortunately, they no longer seem to exist. Whatever. I have read enough of your post to know you are not dumb enough to believe that. I can only go by the reality of my own personal experiences.... True but maybe you are just attracted to the wrong type of women. I think that was true for a very long time. Now, I'm rarely attracted to anybody at all. And when I am, I tend to focus on the ones who are logistically unavailable. |

i apologize if this has been asked before but I know not. Men always say that women only want bad boys. Does it work both ways? If a women is financially independant and nurturing and loving and ...a bit doting, is that a turn off? Should a women act subserviant in order for a man to feel like a man?

Yes a lot of men prefer the stereotypical "bare foot and pregnant" type of women. Not all but a lot, whether they will admit to it or not. On the other hand a lot of women mistake whiny bi!@#nes, insecurity, and neediness, combined with manhating and judgementalism for strength and independent thinking. I've been rather appalled at how men flip-flop once they get drunk. They'll claim to support women and such but become horribly misogynistic. Big turnoff there! Confused about the other. Insecurity and neediness are opposite strength and independent thinking. The key words being "mistake for". |

Ok its simple most good men do not need a bad girl..We want somebody that is willing to fight with us through the good or the bad...for some guys the bad girls are better..for some the good girls...depends on the person. I like a person who is strong and on their on two feet. Just depends on the person...

I love to pick up the check, and my date usually loves it too. Nothing wrong with a woman with alittle cabbage to spend on her man. smartest thing i've heard a woman say today. And i respect women as being just as intelligent as men, depending upon whether it is an emotional issue or other issue. |

I guess it kinda depends on what kinda guy you are. The whole submissive girl thing is annoying. I cant't handle a lady that agrees with everything I say, just so we have something in common. The bad girl thing can go either way. There is a bad girls, like strippers, and what not, and there is bad girls that are like the ones in any good 80's movie, there the best. I might be speaking alone here, but the girls with the confidence, and opinions n stuff are the so much greater. It's a great boost to the ego to know someone like that is into you.
