I would worry about your hands, but the memory lingers regarding "Ice-berg" feet!bigsmile Women, as a race, don't have warm feet. I believe it is a biological impossibilty, my guess is, most men will agree with melaugh laugh

you disappeared..cold feet?
No, my feet are very warm thanks.laugh I raced of to my friends place, Mr. Google, the font of all knowledge, to find out what Low Thyroid was & it appears that there is far more information than I needed to know!

Prime rib with horseradish cream, crab martinis and cheese rolls, bread pudding with caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream

What the heck is a "crab martini"?

Is that when you don't put in enough gin and people get crabby?

hahaa..it is a crab salad served in a martini glass, with old bay seasoning around the edge of the glass...actually quite a nice salad or appetizer.

The horseradish cream is on the side. The crust on the meat adds a nice flavor. Some people are strictly meat only, I enjoy a little cream. If it were ketshup..I would agree

I'm guessing that a prime rib came from a cow. Had it escaped from a sheep. I would have called it a "chop", and plenty of them will be eaten on Xmas day, along with sausage , steak & pork strips. BBQ's are more fun with beerbigsmile

we did the same thing last year, so much more relaxing because the kids have other places they have to go to.... so this gives us a full day to eat relax and open gifts

NY chefs serve up a "Rack of lamb" which to me, is a fancy way of cooking chops. One is hopefull that "prime ribs" are not quite the same thing. Are prime ribs related to "T Bones"?

Where's the bone? That looks like a goodly sized slab of "Rib eye" steak. It would have come from the inside of the rib. The meat that is taken from along the spine, just under the skin, is known as "Porterhouse" steak. VERY highly thought of.
