It is warm here. I think we will be in for a change, though..a cold change..but it's 72 here.

I wither on the vine in the heat of the day. We still have 88 degees but are expecting a cool change this evening. Tomozz is forecast to go up to90 or there abouts. I am hopefull that Xmas day is cooler.

yeah right thats what is was Its the Christmas party I have every year because I won't get to see most of my family at Christmas.

I'm guessing that your family is spread out all over, so an early Xmas party seems like a great idea. My family is about 20 Km's from here, so this xmas we are all meeting in the middle. While that sounds very grand, the family consists of 2 daughters, husbands/partners, and 4 kids between 13& 1 year. The older kids know it all, the baby doesn't speak. Should be fun

yes most of my family is spread out.some even drove 3and half hours to get here.I had 24 out of the 30 invited.My house was packed!!

An 80% strike rate is pretty good going. 3.5 hours from here, would put me back on the west coast, where at this moment the rain will be absolutely hammering down. Actually, being over there now would be not to bad, at least it would be cooler.

It was really nice to see them all, and since most of the family was all together I got to announce my daughter's engagement.

Did your daughter keep the engagement quiet till the party? Was it a surprise for the rest of the family?

yes she wanted it to be a surprise. Most of them were very surprised but a lot said they saw it coming because they have never seen her happier .
