Pick their dates up at the door anymore?

Well when dating from online and meeting someone for the first time it's really not the best idea..

Knowing someone the "old" way they should and if they don't then I wouldn't waste my time...

Nah we just kinda roll by and honk the horn..........

My date meets me at the door, holds my hand ( to make sure that I don't fall) walks me to the car, opens the door for me, hands me my seatbelt, then gives me a bunch of kisses before he shuts my door.


After the date, he will open my door, help me out of the car, holds my hand again, and walks me back up to my door.

Whats a date? last one I had I picked her up in my Buckboard and the horse almost kicked her on the way to the barn dance!!

Well, being this is the net. Most women I have gone out with like to meet somewhere.


Having them pick you up at your door? Better hope their not deranged or some nut case that will stalk you if things don't work out.

The last time I tried to do that, my date called the police on me she thougth I was her Ex same type of car, same height and weight havent been the same since I got out of jail

The old way in my book is meeting someone through friends, knowing someone from town that you've interacted with over time.. Of course some of them could be crazy as well but at least you know them in person and they're from your immediate area usually...

You actually get to spend time with them and kind of see who they are. Being the net. you can be anything you want someone to believe you to be?

I agree with most,,but really I think if you cant make the time to be old fashion,and meet people on your own theres a problem,,friends help turns in to trouble,,the net gives you false hope,,and church gives you good girls soon to turn bad,,lol,,but really where did we go wrong when it came to love at first sight,the bump into someone in a store, the oh what time is it,,see all this leads up to the date where you do get that door open for you and the chair pulled out and pushed in,,the kiss good night when he turns and you think,,wow whens the next time I can get the door open,,and the respect being treated like a woman...

I have done it before. It sort of depends on her though mostly. I have had to pic dates up from work and other places too by their request.

People can lie about who they are in person can't they?? From past experience people have lied d about who they are in person.
