Because again the flesh is sinful. Lustful desires and actions are sinful. Sex outside of making babies is PURELY for the physical pleasure, nothing productive comes out of it besides your physical pleasures being satisfied.

Well, not only that, but if we take "sex" to it's ultimate physical definition (i.e. penis-vagina penetration), then by the strictest meaning of the term the very concept of "homosexuality" is a meaningless concept.

By this definition it would be impossible for two people of the same gender to have 'sex'.

Also, if we change the definition of sex to "penis penetration" solely no matter what is being penetrated. Then technically only males could participate in "homosexuality" and there would be no such thing as female homosexuality because the latter would make no sense by this definition.

I've always said that if I was gay I would totally renounce the term "homosexuality" altogether. I would just flatly refuse to speak in such terms. I would speak only in terms of "Same-gender Loving Relationships". No 'sex' even needs to be implied.

After all hugging and kissing isn't considered to be 'sex'. We hug and kiss our parents, our children, our siblings and potentially even our friends and their spouses. Are we having "sex" with all those people? No of course not.

After all look at what Cowboy has been proposing. Even Heterosexual couples who can't have children often marry. Why? Because they want to have a Loving Intimate Relationship. Are they having sex?

Who knows? If they believe like Cowboy and they know they can't have kids for whatever reason (or choose not to have children), then clearly they would NOT be having sex. But they may still want to marry and love as partners in an intimately monogamous relationship.

No one would object to that.

Yet how would that be any different from a "Same-Gender Loving Relationship".

It wouldn't be any different at all.

So from that perspective, if the gay community were to simply change a few terms around and reject the term "homosexual" and demand to simply be referred to as "Same-Gender Lovers". Then all this religious bigotry and hatred would go away.

If these Same-Gender lovers are doing anything in their bedroom that conflicts with God's desires, then that's between them and God, and no one else.

So that's really all the gay community needs to do. Just reject the term "homosexual" and start to focus on "Same-Gender Loving Intimacy"

Where does the Bible say that intimate relationships are forbidden? I'm sure it doesn't. Unless someone wants to pervert the term "intimacy" for their own hateful agenda.

This doesn't work though Abra. One is only homosexual if they participate in sexual actions with the same gender. A male kissing a male isn't homosexual, a female kissing a female isn't homosexual heck that happens almost every day. Two people of the same gender holding hands isn't homosexual, two people of the same gender hugging isn't homosexual. It only becomes homosexual again when the two of the same gender participate in sexual actions with one another.

A person that sins all over the place, murdering, raping, ect. I do not hate that person. I hate the sin. Yes I fail time to time when I get weak and relaxed and just not really paying much attention to what I'm doing. Which I will be judged on. Nevertheless I do not do something intentionally that I know is sinful. So I will live in this sinful flesh, fighting it all the way, until our Lord returns and frees us of sin.

What an awful life to live. Hating the flesh you are in all your life. I can understand the resentment felt from Christians after having to life like that.

I do not hate the flesh itself. I hate it's sinful desires, sexual desires, alcoholic desires, smoking, ect.

For a human, sex is also to procreate... and yet sex with love is greater for it creates a oneness between seperate entities... and that oneness is greater than simple 'physical' pleasure, transending both into a spiritual realm.

lol funches. Getting weak and intentionally sinning at that moment is the same thing as not intentionally committing sin. It's for the brief moment one gets weak letting go and sins. But in all reality didn't mean to do as such or even want to completely. Just got weak and let the walls come down for that moment.
