Topic: Men and their emotions | |

Men have feelings and Amish men have beards. So does that mean Amish men have feeling beards? Or maybe they just like feeling beards? I'm confused...

I guess it depends on "what feelings" you want to express.
Such as, a real man will tell show you that he loves you. They should all be able to express it. Sometimes, like with being sad or hurt or scared. It can be hard to express those things and not feel like a puss. Most of those other emotions turn to anger...The trick is being able to sort about the difference. It's not far but this is the burden society places on men to be manly. |

i think women should be licensed to register shock treatment when her guy refuses to open up, lol

shock treatment will only make them close up more. Mars/Venus
Some good info in those books. Men are like bears & need their cave time. We were raise/taught that way; re-education is hard but can be done. Biooest thing I can tell you is LOVE us. Show us a different path & we will slowly learn it. A man will go thru HE!! & back for some reason's, even he doesn't understand. Behind every great man is an equal or greater woman. Been there & learned the hard way. All great relationships are filled with work to EARN it. |

Everyone has feelings(Except for the occasioanl Psycopath) but Men have them, and I havent known a Man that doesnt show them. Emotions come in all forms...Anger....Sadness...Happiness...
I think women want men to show the Softer side of there emaotions, which some men have a hard time doing..Its a guy thing... I have no problems, when I meet someone I am open and honest from the get go, Im like that becaue Ive learned from mistakes. |
Why don't I have an issue with this?
Ohhhh....right...Cause I don't open up my emotions either. Duh. No seriously...I think this goes back to the very first time someone's dad told him that boy's don't cry. And from there...it just followed them into adulthood. But getting a man to show emotion is a lot like trying to catch butterflies...sometimes you have to sit really quietly and listen for a long time before one will land on you. |

I personally have no problem showing my emotions.... |
I wear my emotions on my sleeve.
I'm not hard to read. I'd say it depends on the guy. |
