hey everyone, i'm not trying to rant... i'm just confused i guess. ive spent my life not trying to pick up the prettiest girl i see, but instead the one who seems to be the most interesting and has the most depth. but after months they all seem to be the same. haha i know it's impossible but can someone explain to me how to find or recognize the real girls. like the ones who are nice, who have some depth, who are loyal and caring. i just dont understand i guess.

It is a funny thing about the forums. Fun and games it would seem. But something else also happens. You get to know who people really are, sooner or later, their true selves are right in front of you. That is when you can tell. Time. |

Agreed,,,it takes time. Personable, smart, reasonably attractive, deep--people like that are hard to find.

I have had to learn the hard way not to wear my heart on my sleeve & to take as much time as I feel I need to warm up to someone before letting them into my life with an emotional commitment! don't give up, you will find her someday & probably when you least expect it! |

I typically thought that people show who they really are when things in their life start to go wrong, but I may be wrong. Knowing someone can only go so far, since you can never empirically have a complete understanding of they think. Ask lots of questions though that usually helps me.

This can depend on what "real" means to you. For example you stated that the girl you seek must be interesting and with depth. You must define what that is. Then you will recognize which girls have it.

Maybe its not "all" the ladies with the issue eh? Maybe you are using the same filters over and over, and so meeting the "same" chick over and over ( As if any two peeps are the same) Believe me, IF you ever fall in love, your lady will be the most beautiful by far in your eyes.

Only taking time to getting to know the other person will tell you what you want. There is no manual or secret to finding these things out. It takes a lot of patience and communication to finding out who the other person really is...

Have conversations with them, have lunch with them, hang out with them, or just spend time with them. That is they only way to truly know what someone is like. TO get to know them. Like on here a profile gives you a glimpse of their personality, a photo will tell you if theres an attraction. Only time will tell if you are truly compatible with someone. Troublebug and others mentioned this-- but time helps you get to know someone. Eventually you find someone that you are so comfortable with that you can stand to be with them all the time.
