This worked for me after about a year of her stuff left at my house.

I called her and gave her 2 weeks to come get it or I would rent a
storage shed, put her stuff in there and pay 1 months rent.

She was her that next weekend and got all of it.

I should have told her that 9 months ago.

brokenheart Sure your hurt & want them to hurt.
You did have feelings for this person & you wouldn't want them to do
that to you.
Now when your packing up the stuff & a home made movie falls out of
something.noway
maybe a few tubes of super glue or say cat piss, or Sardine oil.
explode

Get the belongings sent to that person by a reliable and neutral
messenger.

This woman took a nail or a needle or (something)and scratched all my
favourite LPs. I am a musician. A couple years later, she tells me she
wished her husband could die so she could get back with me as I am the
best man in the World and the BEST MAN she EVER HAD. What do you think?

No one KNOWS the future, so shouldn't the belongings be returned?

Too much effort Buttons:

A (modified) I'd put them in a Bag on MY Front Porch then Call her and
tell her Where they are. I'd also let her know if the crap sat there
more than a Day or two it was going in th Trash (meaning she lost
posession, that gives her a chance to claim them if she wants them)
Anything I like or someone else likes would then get them.....

This question doesn't take into account at least one scenerio...

In my case, Kids were involved. No matter what their mom did to me, I
wouldn't be the one that they saw acting like white trash. She was free
to come and get whatever she wanted. If there was lifting involved, I
wouldn't help, So she had to have her boyfriend help. I sat in the
driveway with one of my psycho buddies and drank beers while the
boyfriend and his friends took her stuff.
I didn't start any problems (for my kids sake) and watched everything
that came out of the house.
After that, Whatever was left I felt free to toss.

when my ex left I threw what she left as far as clothes, outside and
watched the neighborhood go through them and carry them off
