Topic: Break ups: To keep or to return belongs | |
---|---|
He cheated on you, I would wait a couple of weeks, if he doesn't come
back for them....I would THROW them out. It would be that simple for me..... |
"mmmmm, to the left, to the left,
everything you own in the box to the left...." it is nice to make some effort at returning them but if you do it - it is for you - not for him "hurry up before your taxi leaves....." |
i would throw everything in a box and tell him he can pick it up
outside, that way i wouldnt have to open the door and speak to him. |

Send him his stuff (UPS, FedEx, Drop it on his doorstep), and be done
with it! Close that chapter of your life and stop holding on! Keeping his things is just a way for you to get him to "reconnect" with you some how! Remember to "take the trash out" and keep your life focused on the future! |
give the stuff back, even if they are a complete jerk don't let them
drag you down to their level, be the better person |
send a certified letter stating that they have 30 days
to make an appt to come and retrieve the stuff if not it will be disposed of and keep receipt for send and a copy of the letter theft is wrong itis not yer stuff yet after the 30 days then it may be yer stuff |

like Chollie says
but save on postage and send it USMail 4th class or whatever is cheapest |
with out certified receipt it is of no value
must have evidence of receipt of said letter |
adj4u - are you a lawyer??
i think that the uspo now has some tracking even if there is no certification but don't know if it covers 4th class.... i guess it'd be a good idea to get a receipt although it is soooo weezlee |
it is probably a mute point anyway
under abandonment but hey what do i know |
