What happened to being honest about who you are and where you live? I'm tired of getting all the women from Ghana, Nigeria and the UK who portray themselves as living here!

scammers are everywhere. All you have to do is report them and let the site look into it. Some people lie....plain and simple. Whether it's online or in real life, there are dishonest people everywhere.

I agree! I get the same story... Both my parents died in an auto crash. I'm living in UK with my grandmother, who is dying. Blah blah blah! Wish I could just find someone real to get to know.

get to know people in the forums. posters are only a small fraction of the actual members here. some members just read the forums. someone might see something you said that sparks an interest. But report scammers. The site can't do anything about them if we don't know about them.

IDK yet about scammers! got a few messages for casual encounters, none of them had pics so um NO! (i wouldn't run out & do it even if they did, but geesh!)If ya can't at least post a pic and let someone make a judgement call as to weather you may be a crazed killer or something, then don't expect us to wanna run out & do something intimate with you in the middle of the night! I was born at night, it wasn't last nite tho!

try becoming really good friends with someone and after a year or so finding out they had a secret and was not the person you thought they were. I was married for 11 and that happened to me. Sucks! Huh?

That experience has stuck with me. I can't believe I almost went there & it was a deal-breaker, but at least he told me before it got real serious!

nah that nothing i was with my ex for 10yrs decided that he wanted to be with his first gf again after finding her for 35yrs heck we lasted longer then them an were still friends
