I walk at least an hour a day, even if it's not all at once!
I walk across campus & walk the dogs & walk the pasture to find ponies! I ride my horses a couple days a week & I also do water cardio on Tuesdays and Yoga on Thursdays! I do it for stress relief, pain relief, getting in better shape, etc! lol gearhead! My truck is makin' me play mechanic today (really hates that role), but if I am right about the problem it is an easy fix! |

I dabble a bit in Martial arts to keep myself in shape. To relieve stress, I do some Tai chi chuan. If I feel lazy, I just walk.

Love it/Hate it? any other comments.... I swim a mile 5 mornings a week and then 3 days a week I run 6+ miles and 3 days a week I ride my bike 17+ miles. I absolutely LOVE it!!! I do it to stay in shape (I compete in triathlons & I've recently lost 114 lbs) and I do it for stress relief. If I've had a bad day at work, I can't wait to get home and go to the gym. I've noticed that my whole attitude is different if I'm not able to go to the gym. I've actually thought about going to school to be a personal trainer. |

wow singlentri! that's a lot of exercise!!!!!!!
I started walking more last year when I found out I was Insulin resistant and started meds! Of course, changed my diet immensely too! I started the water cardio & Yoga this summer to help with muscle spasms from old back injuries & improper posture (I can't stand being on drugs constantly & needing them to make it through the day). Now the heaviest thing I take is ibuprofen and I have never felt better in my life!!! I've lost about 25 lbs this year too |

I get enough exercise with my job, but I also try to go kayaking, hiking and camping. Shooting my bow is good for my upper body and arms.

I ride a different kind of bike. |

I just recently started going to the gym with my best friend everyday except sundays and love it.
I also don't have my license and live on the second floor of the house I rent so I get an excellent work out doing my daily tasks. I do it for stress relief and to get back and stay in shape. Plus we are looking into taking some free classes like yoga and that. I also take my daughter to swimming lessons even though she is only 9 months old but she still loves it. I have lost 20 lbs so far since I had my little girl and I plan on losing 45lbs more. |

i LOVE working out! I do it everyday. 1-3 hours. Usually its P90X in the morning. Then a 3miles jog. Then a 4 miles bike ride with my dogs next to me. Then on Saturdays, i go hiking in the woods.. And between all this i work. Or i bodyboard go fishing. I have to do something. Or i go nuts being inside all day.
I was not always like this. After high school i was preggie and got lazy. Only thing i would do was take care of my kids and clean the house. I was not active. And gained a BUTT load of weight. I topped 270. Then got into a horrible car wreck. During my 3 month stay in the hospital found a tumor. Became diabetic. Didn't take diabetes seriously. Thought I could drink and eat whatever I wanted.. Not good choices. Got real sick and almost died. Decided, this is it. Live better or say good bye to my sons. So decided to live better. As I exercised, I felt better about myself. I had a better attitude. I was happy again. I was active. Life got a lil easier. Clothes looked BETTER on me. Kept up with my sons. I am enjoying life again. I feel younger.. Sexier. Now not saying exercising fixed everything. Just made me feel i can face things stronger. Ok my 2 cents. sowwy was long |

I got full on into walking when I lived in Glasgow. I discovered a love for their amazing hills and views. The feeling is recreated by the hills Ive selected, here, as my home (intentional). I love walking, particularly if I feel the challenge of gravity. That way I can add sweat to my experience and think Ive done something of value to my health. The endorphins are fab, the thoughts I can think are always positive and I always feel happier when Im done. ...and yes, 5-7 days per week, and its usually about an hour and 15 but Ive recently noticed my speed is better lately. I get my best photography that way |
