i am doubling my workout this week.. i feel like i gained 10 pounds in 3 days!! love the holidays though! was great to eat everything lol


I was a good girl and stayed away from the sweets and over eating this holiday. I actually dropped 4 pounds.

congrats flowerforyou I was really sore & tired feeling today so I didn't push it too hard, but still walked 3 miles with the dogs at a brisk steady pace stopping to stretch a few times! My legs stopped burning the last half mile home-lol!

So one of my friends talked to me about "muscle stagnation" and how I should mix up my workout as so to cause "muscle confusion."

Well, I made up a completely different workout to confuse my muscles, and I found that I'm always thinking "How do I do that again?" and "What was next again?" So now not only are my muscles confused, I am too.


Maybe I should just take up power walking.

First time I heard the term "muscle confusion", and I thought it was very funny. I can relate to your state of confusion, though. laugh

holy crap, i am clumsy enough that I am certain if my muscles got confused I'd fall over-LOL! However, I feel different muscles working going between water cardio, yoga, walking, and riding horses.

Thanks. Yeah, you need to rest the body. I take every 3rd or 4th day off from my workouts which means tomorrow is my day off. Mind you I think I got enough of a workout laying down flooring tonight. LOL

So Sunday, Monday & today I got 3 miles with the 1 was able to squeeze in yesterday. Tomorrow I will do Yoga for relaxation and rest while I finish cleaning my house for the New Year's eve party!

My new furniature looks great in my living room...bigsmile offtopic oops

way to go navy! proud of u to have that kinda drive!


but for me hoildays are not the same without all the sweets, homemade bread and turkey ham!! lol i just work double hard to enjoy it!

I can't afford to do that at my age. I just look at food and I gain weight. Oh to be 19 again.laugh

What do you do for exercise, how often, how intense?

Do you do it for stress relief or to stay in shape (or both)?

What type of work-out do you like and how intense???

Love it/Hate it?

any other comments....


elliptical, 3-4/week, 1 1/2 hrs/per day (sometimes more if stressful day lol), highest setting possible.. both stress and stay in shape, I like working out, I also like that rowing machine. (dunno the name.. but it has a fishing game on it.. lol)

I been working out really hard for almost 3 months. Love it. Enjoying it. But I found my shoes were fitting me kinda loose. I thought maybe i stretched them out. So the other day went to nine west to get some new stelletos they have on sale. I have been a size 8 1/2 for about 25 years. I tried on these beautiful shoes. And saw they don't fit. I went to a size 7 1/2! I thought maybe they were just that pair. so I tried on differetn pairs. Everyone of them were a size 7 1/2! Came home and read online that ur feet can GET SMALLER as you lose weight and tone up! Crazy! Now i have about 50 unusable pairs of shoes!

Guess Good Will will be getting a large shoe donation!

I have NEVER heard of someones feet getting smaller!
