What if you can't marry, what if your state doesn't allow it? I mean I know people who have been in a very committed relationship for 20 or more years - I can't imagine how much better they should have to know each other, can you?

Affection and intimacy seem to be basic requirements of all humans. And physical intimacy is a natural expression of love that has developed between two poeple.

No one has the ability to see the future but we make plans and set goals anyway, and join together in committment with another to share the journey.

Marriage should not be a license to have sex, it should be a coming together of family and friends to hear the vows of one to another, to celebrate their joy and to join together to support and honor their relationship and if need be - remind them on occasion of their commitment and the plans and goals they made together.

Well said my friend.I have had the experience of dating many women in my life and I have learned that men and women both use people for nothing more then sexual pleasure.You think they really like you?Tell them they will have to wait at least 3 months before anything sexual happends.Tell them 6 months.

I was a stupid idiot in my twenties.I knew the lord but didn't listen to what he had to say.I was having sex on first dates.Getting sexualy intimate with girls who I have never met in dark corners in night clubs,back seats of cars,and bars.I was known around town as a player and seducer.I even surpised myself sometimes.Taking bets with my friends when they would point out a girl and ask me how long it would take before I had her a quivering mess melting in my arms.

My friends I say these things to you as I hang my head in shame.It is my personal testimony of the dangers and destruction of sexual lust.No amount of sex or women can ever fulfill that desire to be satisfied.You will always want more.Desipite all the beautiful women with beautiful bodies and a dresser full of phone numbers I was totally miserable.I used them for lust but they also used me as well.I was nothing but a boy toy to them.A attractive,well dressed,cofident man,that they could use for a few hours to forget their boring husbands and push over boyfriends.

I tell you these embarrassing and degrading things about myself not because I like to brag but as a warning to the dangers of disobeying Gods word.Sexual temptation,pornography,lust,and all the other garbage that goes along with it is nothing less than spiritial cancer and a toxic poison.In my life I have never seen anything as destructive as what I went though.Because Satan is replacing what you desire the most(marriage,commitment,love,trust)and replacing it with lust,lies,immorality,cheating,one night stands,rejection,hurt,and empty fulfillment.


I am fully aware and take responsibility for the many years I was doing those things.I have only myself to blame and will accept the consequences for my actions when I am judged by God in the end.It is a sad and scary thought for me.

But I also know I have repented,changed my heart and my life,and have confessed my sins to God and they have been forgiven.I don't need to think about those women I seduced and relationships I might have ruined.Because Jesus died for my sins to be paid in full.It is a insult to him for me to repent of my sins and him to forgive him only for me to feel guilty the next day of those same sins.

As a Christian I can not change my past.But I can try to make up for the wrongs with doing the rights.I have made a vow not to have sex until(hopefully marriage)and have kept that vow now for 7 years.To be honest it has not been hard waiting.I don't miss it.I could go another 7 years with no problem.I know God will reward me one day with a good Christian woman.I will wait until she comes.

I agree, but are there any men in Omaha Ne that believe this? I can't seem to find any. I meet men who say the what a Christ centered relationship but can't live without sex. UGH! It gets discouraging. I know God will bring him to me, but it gets hard!

Keep the strength. Don't let it get you down, you'll find a worthy man. Keep your chin up and truck'n along, he'll come into your life when you less expect it.

My dear friend....when you have confessed and asked forgiveness God forgives all....He is not like us humans when we say we 'forgive' and 'forget' and the first chance we get we throw it back to the person's face whom we have supposedly 'forgiven', the moment they do something that makes us mad at them. the Omega love of God wipes your slate clean and when you stand in 'judgement' the sins you are forgiven by Him will be nowhere to be found :) a great releasing and joyful thought that is hmmm....wish we could be more like that and love like He does :)
