Are you at a point in your life where dating is a waste of time or are you still looking forward to it?

I'm not really looking forward to dating per se. It would be nice to have someone to hang with. I am not in any hurry.......

Yeah....the whole dating part isn't something I want. I'd rather hang out with people and shoot pool and if there is in interest with one of them then cool.
The whole first date thing drives me crazy. I have never liked them. I wish I could skip that part and either fast forward through that or erase it Just too much time and energy for me right now |

It would be a waste of time right now because I can't find anyone interesting enough to bother with, around here where I live. I might look forward to it if there was someone actually worth dating. |

Dating seemed to work out for me. I am not living with my boyfriend. Things are going great.

I think of it in sales terms - I don't 'date' - I 'prospect'. It's really no different than developing new business in a territory.
Some will want to use your product, others already have their vendor, and others will never be 'customers'. Everything in life is a 'sale' of one kind or another. Oh - while I'm being 'evaluated', I'm also 'evaluating'. That's done in every sales presentation ... |

Dating is something that has turned out to be more trouble than its worth...just the idea of getting together with someone I hardly know and spending the nite making "small talk" trying to get to know each other exhausts me even before I step out the door....
If Im going to go out with someone its going to be with a person I already know and feel comfortable with.... So I guess I dont date, I make friends first and then just kind of hang out.... |

Are you at a point in your life where dating is a waste of time or are you still looking forward to it? I look forward to meeting/dating someone, but it is cumbersome at times going through the process (until you meet someone that you mesh with - challenging). Also, as we mature we become more set in our ways, and less tolerant of the nonsense that comes with it........ |

i have never been in date. i am really eager for my first date. i need a partner who is easy going, open and caring. date is a problem and headache for those who have experienced it more than they should have done if.

I date for fun. I skipped dating for so many years that now when I get a chance to show somebody a good time, I do my best to make sure it's fun.
Dating is just getting to know somebody. It's not a hassle if you have the time for it. |
