Here's the plot crunch:

"It’s All Hallow’s Eve in purgatory and the Devil has gathered Edgar Allen Poe, Bram Stoker, H.P. Lovecraft and Mary Shelley for a night of storytelling; the winner receiving whatever they desire. Between snide remarks and bickering rivalries, each takes a turn unveiling their tales that include vampires, werewolves, zombies, ghosts, serial killers, and mad scientists.

'The Gathering' follows the successful anthology format with the Devil and the horror authors rounding out the framework. All popular with enormous cult followings, this modern take on the personalities and quirks of these literary legends is often hysterical and genuinely macabre. Contained within the inner stories are unique and original tales that will appeal to the broad mass of horror enthusiasts."

Oh, yes! I haven't heard of a movie concept like this one before, so I have high expectations.

i liked the gate too...i hope it's done a bit better this time...
but i guess no 3D is out of the question...

It's been a heck of a long time since Bill S. Preston Esquire helmed a movie but 'Bill and Ted' star Alex Winter is coming back to take on a new 3D remake of 'The Gate', a late 80's horror that starred Stephen Dorff whereby 3 young children accidentally release a horde of nasty, pint-sized demons from a hole in a suburban backyard. A new teaser poster for the remake (below) has appeared and also some more details came to light during a recent interview with Mr Winter. 'When best friends Miles and Terry discover a mysterious crystalline rock in Miles's back yard, they quickly dig up the lawn in search of more. Instead, they unearth the Gate - the opening to an underground chamber containing terrifying evil. The teenagers soon realize the horror they have unleashed, as one dire event follows another. With supernatural fiends invading suburbia, it's »

Camille Keaton Talks 'I Spit on Your Grave Remake', 'Sella Turcica' and 'The Butterfly Room'

(Talking about the original I Spit On Your Grave)
“I thought the movie would never see the light of day or the dark of the theater,” Camille said. “I didn’t think it would ever come out. Then when it came out, I thought well, OK, it came out but it’ll go away. But, it didn’t go away ... like a bad cold … and they just made a remake of it and I was stunned and horri - stunned and in shock. You know what, imitation is the best form of flattery and I embrace the film now.”
