I didn't know if I'd ever see her again back then, and giving her up for adoption was the hardest thing I ever had to do. But she found us! And we reunited there at a tiny shack of a train station... that was my perfect day!!! |

in autumn just sat there. Wrapped in a blanket listening to the waves crash cold breeze I loooooved it!

In northern Michigan with my best friend drifting all afternoon on a lake in kayaks, perfect weather, beautiful sunshine, not a person or house visible....ultimate relaxation.

He says he wants me to look at him when he says it... and out come the words I love you! I have waited so long to find someone who would say that to me! It was the best day ever! A close second would be graduating from college |

AMEN!!! How could anything top that! To find a child you thought you'd lost .. the absolute most awesome gift to a mother's heart!

The perfect day in my life is when I was sworn in to join the military.

Lately the big thing was hooking up with all the kids on my block that I grew with.

I have been fortunate enough to have a lot of perfect days. But the most recent was only this past week. My son came home for R&R and we surprised his youngest brother when we went to pick him up from scout camp. Later that day we went to dinner. We weren't expecting to maybe see him at the end of summer. He goes back to Afghanistan in a few days. I hope to have many more perfect days like that one as he comes home safely again.
