Topic: Where Do You Get Your Inspiration From? | |
---|---|
These past few weeks has been really hard for me. You know the kind where you feel like you're drowning in deep water, and no matter how much you kick and struggle, it just keeps pulling you back down. You don't want to give up, but it seems that whatever you do, you just keep sinking.
In such seemingly hopeless times, what do you tell yourself to make you keep going? Where do you get inspiration from? |

Through past experiences and knowing that this too will pass.

I guess I have never really that about that I have my time when I wish I would have never got out of bed. Just one of those day when nothing go’s right. But I always do. So I get my inspiration from success I don’t like to no I failed and still I do but I gave it my best shot .

I have had a tough year--just when I think I have a handle on my life--something else happened. I just take one step at a time and I believe that there is nothing that I can't work my way through. ATM things are starting to come together. I live by the belief that I am the only one that can determine my future and I refuse to not have it go the way I want.

Many are angry, frustrated, confused and struggling as of late....something in the air perhaps.
I hike, I have to get up there everyday, it balances me out, puts things in perspective....makes me 'small' I go into meditation Music is HUGE for mood altering for me aromatherapy baths, lavender is a favorite forgiveness of those I 'feel' mistreated me optimism, positive thoughts finding funny things to watch/listen to..laughter always helps the times all 3 of my boys are here together, they make me laugh and my fires are not limited to the full moon anymore |

Where do you get inspiration from? I agree with a lot on here , especially biglife - knowing that this stage or phase will pass and try not to get too mired in the present when things aren't going well. Take some time to do things I am good at to build my esteem. Once I had a job that was unpleasant people everday - very negative, critical. So I'd shoot pool or go for a run everyday cuz I was good at those things. I also try to change what I can control, if necessary, and mentally sort what I can change and what I realistically can do little or nothing about. Best wishes, redlace. |

Where do you get inspiration from? I tell myself... "Who will feed the dog if you give up?" I get my inspiration to keep going from him quite often. He loves me unconditionally, as I love him. For now, if he can keep doggie paddling along in these treacherous waters, so can I. I also find inspiration in words...whether written or read. They're my life preserver, providing me insight and comfort, especially when I need it most. May you find calmer waters soon... |

I don't get to ignore life around me. I have two VERY insistent 65lb dogs who will trample me in my bed and drive me out of it. My inspiration is my animals, being outside, music, meditation. I push through and fake it till something internally shifts, and I'm not really faking it anymore.

Just knowing that life is not fair, and that many people on this planet have to struggle/suffer helps me through rough times. Positive thoughts, exercise, helping (and communicating with) family/friends. Stay busy with things that interest you. Appreciate life, our time here on earth is so short.

The past, my job and my meetings with people local and on here.

The beauty of the earth. I love trees. I love seeing cactus or trees growing out of rocks. It shows me that nothing is impossible with endurance.

I get my inspiration from God and thinking of the saying he will never give you more than you can handle, and my cats they depend on me to take care of them, especially when they try to wake me up in out of bed for food and love, and the beauty of nature inspires me.

Family & friends...and my inner strength. I know I can handle anything I am delt...afterall, I am WOMAN...HEAR ME ROAR! I may be knocked down for a week or two but I always do my best to pick myself up and brush myself off.
And yes I too believe things happen for a reason. |
