ancient Sumerian, ancient texts from india as well as many other ancient writings describe ufo like incidents I think they have been around since before humans evolved to where they are today. Also I think humans could have never evolved and moved into such advanced technology so quickly without help. |

Ummm, call me dumb, but if someone's being stalked, how 'well' do they have to know 'em for a 'real relationship' to bloom ... ? somehow I never quite believed a 'relationship' was what a 'stalker' type has in mind ... sump'm about that 'mentality' just don't have a 'real-world' click to it ...

I'm an atheist, and I personally (personal opinion!) dislike the way that some religionists will seize every opportunity to promote their ideology. However, I lean towards agreeing with PeterPan on this. What I see in this thread is: people like me, with my prejudices, being overly critical of others for their choice to interject "Praise Jesus"-type comments.
We are all frequently 'a bit off topic' in the Sci/Phi section - its how we expand the convo and explore new ground. We could have respectfully asked the Jesus people to tone it down, without any of this negativity. As far as the 'sig', I really don't think thats in the spirit of this site. Overall, this is for topic-appropriate conversation - not any kind of sig based promotionalism. I would expect that if it escalated, a rule might be made against it. We have enough rules. |

We have enough rules. That's an understatement. Anyway, I've procrastinated enough playing around on here lately. I have a lot of serious work to do, so I will be gone for a little while. See ya'll later.

Someone can bring up alien life form but the minute they piss a chri-stain off, which they know they are going to do, talking about believing in aliens and then they get mad because the chri-stain has a different view. I totally believe in alien life forms, i also believe that i am one. i do not belong here, i do not fit.

'They' don't like the idea of another intelligent being from some other solar system because those beings may be the source of their religion. And that means God does not exist. Who knows, the 'Grays' could be the source of all major religions through out human history. |
