I have no shame dating women much younger than me but i get accused sight unseen of being a pervert and dirty old man. When I was younger dating was impossible because I looked too much like a kid back then.

I can argue women hold us to a effed up template and men likewise have their messed up template of attraction. It is all relative.

Believe me, I would be thrilled to meet a Asian woman who is not servile or subservient in the classic sense. If she seriously could do what I see in martial arts movies I would be even more thrilled especially if she really could go all Bruce Lee on people. The thing is where would I meet a woman like that? Probably fantasy land! I know I may have messed up tastes but I like a beautiful woman who is fast handed and deadly accurate. Classic samurai women were fully versed in the art of fighting like the men. They were still expected to be women.

The thing is we stand between a fantasy world and a real world and we have to know where to draw the line. I think we call that practical thinking. Unfortunately that does not apply well to love!

Well, nothing may be wrong, but there are Asian women who only want to come here to just make money and send it home. I was married who did just that. So as far as dating Asian women for me, never again! I'll end it here since I was stabbed in the back on that affair.

The only downside to interracial dating that I have seen first hand is the children. Dont get me wrong, im not opposed to it. A perfect example are my cousins. A few of them are half black and half white and they constantly get picked on at school from all sides and it is a sad thing to hear them talk about.

I have heard on the forums that you might have to get out of your comfort zone when dating. So if you get too winded from trying to catch her because you have been a couch potato you might have to take up exercising. If that doesn't work because she still races faster than You; You might have to set a trap. The hard part is trying to figure out what to use for bait. But sometimes you might have to lower your standards and resort to staying in your comfort zone and maybe try to catch a slower one. It may be you both will be more comfortable with that.

Not that I'm proud of it, but coming from a very traditional chinese family there's a bit of a stigma if the male of the family marries a non-chinese person. It's sort of a line of family pride over your own desires. My dad thoroughly whipped it into me since I was 5. However I love dark-skinned girls just as much as asians. This really sucks later in life since I can't seem to attract any of the above two, but I can mingle with caucasians very well.

Every race has their own kind of "bad apples", so to speak. And to not date and entire race because one treated you in a way you didn't like is blowing it out of proportion, don't you think?

I almost married a Brazilian woman who was purely Japanese by descent. I loved her like I cannot describe. She likewise loved me and I knew it but both of us had different situations that tore us apart (like my jealous father who back stabbed me repeatedly but that is another story).

If you can't handle Asian women so what. I find a lot of Phillipinas are just money hungry and also backstabbing sluts but to blanket all of them like that is unfair. I likewise know Phillipinas who are extremely nice people and devoted to their husbands/ boyfriends. Personally I never got along with them sexually or in a relationship. I never dated a Korean girl or a Chinese girl but I have dated Japanese women and I happen to like them a lot. Likewise I have dated black women before. Hell I flat out met black girls that make no bones about being gold diggers but at least they are not misrepresenting themselves. Some men prefer bought women. I prefer tough but graceful women myself but I can overlook the tough part if they are graceful.

I am so blown away by how so many men and women have these predisposed notions that are just SO unfair! No wonder dating is so tough!

Same here for me except it would be "men are men" pretty much.

There are bad in all races and genders and there are good in all races and genders. It is just a matter of finding the good ones.

The reverse can be true, too. All it takes is one good apple to prove exceptions to the rule and blow stereotyping right out of the water. I found an old picture of my dad and an Asian lady that my aunt gave me since she knew I was doing genealogical work on my website. I let mom see the photograph as I was real curious who this lady might be. Mom said that was my dad's girlfriend before he met her. Dad I know was in Korea and Viet Nam. He brought back these Asian Jackets for his sisters and they are real pretty. The picture is black and white.

you are correct. I used to live in the Phillippines for a couple of years and my aunt is Korean.

There are wonderful people in every race just as there are bad apples too.

It's all about preferences. If someone wants to be with a particular race because of a stereotype, then they need a wake up call
