Refer to that when you start playing the violin for all those 'undocumented' ILLEGALS who shouldn't be here in the first place. Their 'rights' [sic] were those of their native country. The minute they crossed OUR border they became subject to OUR laws. Problem is, the 'craps and the 'pubs (yes, both parties are equally guilty of doing nothing) want 'em here for different reasons. That does NOT make it okay. It means that the people currently charged with the responsibility of protecting our borders, language, and culture have sold us out. They need to be replaced with people who are serious about doing the job properly. Rights? They don't need no steenking rights ... they got 'politicians'. |

Weren't we all illegal at one point? Not trying to justify it or anything, but honestly, **** like this is only scaring people away from this country. No we were not all illegal at one point.We have had a government since 1776 and they also had rules in dealing with immigration.Nearly everyone came to America by boat.You just didn't come into the harbor and walk off the boat and you were a American.There was a process that involved questions including who you were,where you came from,what kind of work you did,and if you had any dieses etc.It was important you knew where people were coming from as they could have brought over diseases from other countries that could have wiped out the United states.This is just as important today. As far as my family history I have records that show my ancestors were living here since the early 1500's long before America was even a nation.So to say everyone came to America illegally is not true as you had over 270 years of people coming and living in North and South America before there was a established United states.I do not know the number of people living there in those 270 years since Columbus discovered America and the amount of people moving to North and South America in that period but I am sure it was a lot. I have heard many times the Native Americans are the only true Americans.This is a lie.If your ancestors were here prior to 1776 then they have always been true Americans since the beginning.My ancestors were here before 1776 and to call them illegal immigrants is not only insulting it is ignorant. |

This article is six years old. I am posting it because it describes the illegal alien crime problem then in great detail. Both parties have contributed to the problem as to not offend "Hispanic" voters.

Good article. It's already bookmarked. Both parties, as you point out, have, for their own very different reasons, contributed to (and ignored) the illegal immigration / illegal alien population problem for years - decades, in fact ... there's also another aspect that isn't generally brought up in the discussion, and that's the fact that MEXICO encourages its own citizens to leave because the US acts as its' SAFETY VALVE and prevents Mexican citizens from rioting in MEXICAN streets ... they riot in OUR streets instead. Remember the riots in CA with Mexican 'students' marching in OUR streets under a FOREIGN flag ... ? And then they turn around and expect 'civil rights' and 'understanding' ... sorry, but not in this lifetime. We've been played (and are still being played) by the governments and political parties of at least two countries ... possibly more ... you know, the ones with names like Syria, Iran, Lebanon, Pakistan, etc etc ... lots of 'OTM' ('Other Than Mexican') foreign nationals are caught crossing our borders illegally - but hey, they're olive-skinned, swarthy, speak with a funny 'foreign accent', so hey, they must be Mexican, which means they're okay, right ... ? Ummmmm ... not so much. They're the ones who can't wait to make our streets radioactive ... they don't care too much about OUR 'civil rights' as American citizens. But hey, that Arizona law is 'unfair', so let's have some 'street justice' and riot ... Sheeple are so cute - but only up to a point.

Think every state needs to get tough on illegals run em out!   I agree,, immigration laws need to be enforced equally or not at all. Many immigrants respect the law and go through the process, they wait YEARS to reside here (and some get turned away). To allow so many to just waltz in in front of those who obey the laws is unjust. |
