...you can give someone?
I once heard a phone ring at someone's house. It rang and rang. After me uncomfortably asking about it, the response was...... ..."There's no one I want to talk to...YOU are already here." I was floored! I try to consistently tell folks when they have really "made me think." What is a really "sincere" compliment? |

I always understood a proposal was fairly high up in the compliment stakes, but since "shacking up" seems to be the norm, perhaps the proposal has been devalued. Maybe I'm old fashioned.......

hey beach, missed ya.... ya gonna move back to cali? if i had to give a compliment, hmm..... i'd say......you have earned the wisdom of the man on the mountain, and graduated in the generalities of life, as we have become your willing, and,.... unwilling students, at times, thanks for gracing us with your patience, as i think you've graduated 3 rings with 7 sub rings far before your life's end here, my hat's off to you, and congradulations!

A friend once told me "Thanks for being there for me". I'd rather get a compliment like THAT, than about the way i look.
