Topic: The true gentlemen, myth, legend, or just misunderstood?

aaah, to be... Evil wicked mean nasty deceitful ugly bitter and hidious......nobody will "expect" things from me, so i get extra kudos if i save their neck. if i'm pleasant to other entities, they are pleasantly surprized, for being in league with a true monster that is protective and loyal to them against bullies is always a welcome commodity from what they tell me, so i'll continue on the present path for now...(sardonic smiles and laughter) Brother you are amazing at capturing your inner monster and putting him into words... Once again thank you for your wisdom. aahh thankya thankya! remember, ugly goes to the bone, as i,... and black hole cauldrons run through my marrow, to the heart.... as i always say.....i'm only wearing black, until they make something darker.....

I am beginning to see that maybe you really are a decent dude, and maybe that is really all a good woman wants, just a decent dude. I bet they are very hard to come by these days. Possibly the gentleman evolved into the decent dude I agree, and for the record I truly believe that the decent dude has the right to be a gentlemen if he wishes. So, to all of you ladies who bashed us for opening doors for you and allowing you to walk in first because we simply believe that is the way it should be, I say this. "We are here!! Nice guys, Decent dudes, and Gentlemen alike, here we stand our hearts open and our souls burning with passion. Where are all the ladies?"

No one bashed you for opening doors, we just said it wasn't necessary. If someone does something for me that I don't need and didn't ask for, simply because they wanted to do it, that's on them. I don't see anything wrong with opening a door for someone, I just don't consider it admirable, as if you've hung the moon or something. You opened the door because you wanted to, and because you were taught to. Now if you go out and find the cure for cancer or AIDS and choose to share it with the world, I'll definitely applaud you. But opening a door isn't exactly on that level.
