I really have to wonder how many people would not date someone even with a minor disability like stuttering or hearing loss. I would like some input on this

That's a hard one. I truely believe that if I really liked them, a minor disability wouldnt matter...

I dated a girl who wore leg braces in order to walk. Didnt bother me a bit. She was hot a hell.

I agree, it depends upon how 'minor' the disability. A stutter or a tick would not be a deal breaker, they dont really require any 'special' care.

Stuttering or hearing loss? No problem; those are small things, and would not dissuade me from dating that person.
Now, if she couldn't spell, or didn't know how to use apostrophes, THEN we've got issues....!

I don't think I could because a minor disability is one thing and can be dealt with but a major one like Bi-Polar? NO WAY! NO NO NO! Been there and HOLY CRAP IT WAS BAD!

Yeah i would. What counts is the strong bond you both have with each other! If people are only concentrating on the way you look, then they ain't worth it.

It is nice to see I have some responces in such a short time. I stutter, not so bad and I am honest and up front about it before I call anyone or have anyone call me and I would never surprise anyone with it. It seems when I tell someone who I have been chatting with they disappear. a couple of nights ago, I called a man I had been chatting with, told him before I called him so I would not shock him with it and he hung up on me with out word, he just hung up and I have not heard from him since.

It's not always their fault though... some are born with the handicap of being azzholes, right?
